It got renewed??! Yay! :D

Ash Vs Evil Dead. Absolutely loving it.
I'm also hoping to run through Jessica Jones over the Christmas/NY break.
WTH - The third season of Agents of Shield was on tonight on 7, after it was supposed to be exclusive to Foxtel.
I missed it because of the odd day and time, so at least it is on the 7plus site to catch up on it.
It notes that episode two is on Wednesday at 10.30pm, so maybe it is back on that regular night... at least until episode 10, as they have already stopped for the mid-season break in America for 3 months.
Now I realise who her adversary is I'd go so far as saying everyone should watch Jessica Jones.
Also, Ajin is getting 3 animated movies and a tv series mid 2016 on Netflix! W00t! The manga had a great premise so hopefully these turn out well.

Saw second episode of Supergirl. It's alright, it's getting better. It might be able to pull it off, though likely not to the extent of the Flash or Arrow, which are running beautifully (especially the former).
Have just watched the ep1 of Da Vinci's Demons (final season) and gee it starts with quite a literal bang. :eek:SPOILER ALERT: having to fight his own inventions.
P.S.: That Daredevil series is such a belter that it would be criminal if it didn't win at least one Emmy award.
The reveal during episode 8 really is amazing! Thinking it's going to be a lot better from there on.
Jessica Jones is very good too.
So I've started watching Millennium, I'm 19 years late, but what an intriguing show! Lance Henriksen is always great, there is just something very captivating about it, highly recommended.
Been watching Blindspot lately. Funny how they always decipher her tattoos at just the right moment to prevent a specific terrorist activity from taking place  Once or twice would be fine, but this is happening every episode!
Jessica Jones and Ash vs Evil Dead are all for adults. I can't let my daughter watch these. A bit adult oriented without the nudity.
Sticking to Grimm for her TV show fix.
I got 6 months of stan with my new phone plan 6 weeks ago, been binging star trek next gen, but going to take a break after s3 to check out Ash vs evil dead, seeing bruce cambpell there with a chainsaw every time i open the app... cant resist anymore. (Besides that, original gundam series, one punch man and catching up on arrow)
I'm going too be totally honest: I'm out with DC TV. Supergirl sucks, and Arrow and Flash are declining. Maybe I'll pick it up again, but for now, I'm givin' it a miss.
Big bang theory :D
Not enough tf references though
Jessica Jones is a bag full of unexpected surprises. :D
Sharknado currently showing on SBS2. Followed by Sharknado 2.
The Flash still has it with Zoom, whom we need to be seeing more of, along with more stuff at the end of episodes like Season 1 did so well. It's still pretty great.
Supergirl is alright, but has a lot of holes (how the hell can't anyone tell) and can be cringey.
The X Files is on channel 1 8:30 on Saturdays, I missed 3 episodes and it went from season 2 to season 4 I have a feeling the people at network 10 are missing a multitude of episodes
They are showing selected "best" episodes. Something about the favourite eps of Gillian, David and Chris Carter.
Edit: Here you go
Quote:
Carter selected 10 “essential” eps across the first 6 seasons that epitomised the show. One has been showing them but padding them out. The list was #1.1 Pilot, #1.2 Deep Throat, #1.13 Beyond The Sea, #1.24 The Erlenmeyer Flask, #2.2 The Host, #3.4 Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose, #4.4 Memento Mori, #5.5 Post Modern Prometheus, #5.12 Bad Blood, #6.18 Milagro.
Ah I thought something was wrong with the order, I can't wait until the reboot airs (well 6 eps) and then i'll buy a box set and binge watch it. I am quite the addict
On Channel 9 later tonight (1:24am) is a movie with title 'Griff the Invisible'.
Here's the extract:
Quote:
Griff a socially awkward office worker spends his days being bullied by his workmates and his night as superhero 'Griff the Invisible' roaming the streets of his local neighbourhood, protecting the innocent.
I've seen that twice, it's a nice story (but not a "superhero movie").
Stuck home because I caught a cold, I marathoned all of "Making A Murderer" on Netflix. Great documentary, sad and scary and frustrating. Recommend giving it a go but watch more than episode one because it goes off in a completely different direction from episode two.
What's the go with these new ethnic stereotype tv shows about to hit our small screen.
Meet the Habibs (middle eastern)
Family Law (asian)
Just what we need. Re-enforcing stereotypes.
Three Amigos movie currently showing on Channel GO!
(to coincide with the recent capture of El Chapo)
Don't forget Fresh of the Boat (Asian) and Modern Family (Caucasian). Stereotyping, if done correctly, can be quite funny and seems to be a hit at the moment. It's when people take them too seriously, or the jokes boarder on racist, that issues arise.
Personally, I'm loving "You're the Worst". Such a different type of comedy. As long as you aren't easily offended or appalled I would recommend it.
Just watch The Shannara Chronicles first two episode ...and wow.. just loving it so far... top notch special effect and visual ... finally a good fantasy series , well hoping it is .... GOT is just to slow paced :p
One show I'm really liking is on the new food channel (33), called Cutthroat Kitchen. It's the one cooking game show that doesn't make me want to go out and eat something I saw on screen (like most other cooking game shows do).
The four contestants are each given $25,000 each at the start and one contestant is eliminated after each of the three cooking rounds (and giving back the cash)... but that money is there to be spent on sabotage items that are up for auction at the start of each round. The winner then keeps whatever money is left that they haven't spent.
I've been wanting to have a semi-rant about those two upcoming shows for a while now... about how those (and other racial/ethnic demographic comedies in the past) are actually making it harder for us to teach our younger generations to not treat other races as inferior or funny. Considering the racial tensions at the moment with middle eastern ethnic groups (due to IS), I think it is a poor choice for Channel 9 to be producing a show that aims to make them a laughing stock to the white folk.
Family Law is based on a book by an Asian guy, but I don't know who created or wrote the Habibs show - I still don't think it is okay if the writers actually were Middle Eastern.
Obviously if the writers of those shows were of a different race it would be labelled as racist to make fun of another race, but I actually don't think it is okay to have "ethnic differences" humour written by anyone, even by people of that race who should be fighting against people making fun of their culture or differences. Because the damage isn't done by the one voice saying these things, the damage is done by the large audience who then propagate and keep that derogatory humour alive among their friends and family, for their own amusement or power. (kinda like cyber, office or schoolyard bullying, with a large number of people focussing on a single target)
Exaggerating or making fun of one's normal behaviour or cultural quirks is racist for anyone to do, especially if they are just doing it to make money... particularly on mass media (TV or film) that will impress a wide audience with new things to make fun of that race with, or to believe that the over-exaggerated behaviour done for comedic effect is the norm for all people of that race.
I'm also enjoying the 3rd season of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, with the development of a team of Inhumans (with super powers) this season... and being on twice a week makes it quicker to get into the story.
It's just going to be tough waiting 4-6 months for the second half of the season, as this is one of the growing number of US shows that has a mid-season break of a couple months (either to make up for less episodes, or to cover more of the ratings period).
there's a guy on the chase right now [channel 7] who is into TF and wants to invest in collectible pieces.
I'm still quite enjoying the Goldbergs. Second season on Thursday nights at a later timeslot. Never really got a following here but it's right up my alley. Premise is a young kid growing up in the 80s. It's a kind of 'wonder years' for us late 30 year olds haha
Last episode revolved around the death of Optuimus and the issues this created after Adam went to the 86 movie.....yeah it's right up my alley
It's kind of my must watch ATM. It's simple sitcom heavy on nostalgia.
Nothing says Australia Day like Victoria's Secret 2015 on channel 94 (9Life) at midday (today).
Recently finished watching Da Vinci's Demons S3 and it's great to see they brought back Vlad Dracula for this season.:D
Just watched Sherlock: The Abominable Bride last night. Possibly the most brilliant piece of TV I've ever seen. Utter genius. Words fail me.
Won't make a lick of sense to anyone who hasn't seen the last couple of seasons, so don't go in cold.
Todays Walking Dead is one of the best episodes by far in my opinion.
