Is there anything on other transmetals 2s like stinkbomb? There seems to be a hotrod mode

Just want some opinions on the best way to organise a handful of figures.
My CHUG displays are sorted left to right with the characters on the left debuting in the G1 cartoon in season 1. As we go to the right we go through the seasons till season 4 ends then we go by year of G1 toy till we get to 1989 which is the last G1 year CHUG toys are based on at this moment. I also have a small section for IDW CHUG characters, but try to not put character designs that predate IDW in it.
Which leaves me contemplating where I should place CHUG characters like Darkmount/Straxis, Crosscut and Stripes that are "G1" characters but never were released in a G1 toyline or seen in a G1 episode and yet predate their IDW appearance?
How I'd sort those particular 'bots:
Darkmount with season 2 (introduced in the comics in the same issue as 13 characters from the 1985 range)
Crosscut with season 2 (if he'd been released in G1 it would have been in 1985)
Stripes with Movie/season 3 (as he was originally intended to debut in TFTM)
Are there and differences on the boxes between the Japanese and USA releases of MPM-04 Optimus Prime?
And are there any known differences between the figures themselves? I tried Googling but it became confusing.
The Japanese version has some extra paint details, but has a lighter grey plastic, so the darker Hasbro grey plastic makes it look nicer to most.
This image has the Japanese one with the yellow paint apps on the abs.
Since the American retailer TJMaxx is now in Australia, with a surge of heaps of stores called TKMaxx... has anyone been in one, and did they have any Transformers?
In America they are a discount outlet store, like Reject Shop, which usually gets in one-off shipments of old stock, cheap (not just toys - most stock in the stores are like this).
If this is the case here as well as in America, we could see some older random items that didn't show up in Australia before.
I hurriedly visited the one in Top Ryde a few weeks ago, didn't see a toy section from towards the front of the store so I kept going. I expect it might take a while for that sort of thing to trickle in.
display stand options for the platinum edition unicron?
Made my own out of MDF, can't really see the detail in this photo but I basically cut a couple of slots for his 'hind toes'' and the whole planet kinda sits and balances snugly. It's ugly AF though but luckily I have two other planets to hide the stand. I don't see why this couldn't be made out of a more attractive material like clear acrylic though.

looks great!
I can't believe that you managed to get the Death Star Transformer to lock together as a perfect sphere... something that I gave up on. :p
Sounds like you almost need this
You could possibly use a clear perspex plate display stand. One of the ones that when folder up looks like a gun from side on and opens to a 45 degree angle.

Just got my MP36 Megatron. Is the first run of MP36 a darker shade of grey than he appeared in Takara's promotional photos or have they made a running change to a darker paint?
Here's a picture of Megatron with the rest, can't shake the fact he seems a bit dark.

He looks more cartoony in amongst the others.
So...hard to believe I'm asking this, but is there any way of watching that new Combiner Wars sequel cartoon (I think it's called Titans Return but I'm not sure) from Oz? Like, Youtube channel etc.?
I tried checking it out yesterday, but the videos were all Unavailable in Your Country.
I'm assuming it's terrible like the last series, so it's not a big deal, but still...it'd be nice to have something to space out my current Moral Orel spree with.
Through a PC, yeah. Mobile... I don't know.
You can download and install the Opera browser. In Menu > Settings go to 'Privacy and Security' and turn on the VPN option box. Then in the URL bar, on the left is a button where you can set you VPN country (you need USA).
https://www.lifehacker.com.au/2016/0...eras-free-vpn/
N.B. - This will only work through Opera, so if you were, for example, to go to a torrent site that's geo-blocked in Australia, you could download the torrent, but running it would not be behind Opera's VPN unless Opera still has it's own torrent client (it used to, I don't know if it still does).
Anyone have a link to some comparison pictures of LG and TR Sixshot?
I actually like the mould so I bought the TR version, just want some good comparison images to know if I should also get the LG.
There was one photo posted on seibertron, but maybe their source link has more?
Ok this is bugging the hell out of me (or I'm missing the obvious) - anyone know where the Hasbro/Takara stamp is located on the G1 Wildrider and Breakdown figures?
Have any knockoffs been made of Masterpiece Cheetor yet?
thanks to a certain online store I won't name I have yet to get a masterpiece Cheetor. so I've been looking around online for on.
ebay seems like the cheapest option. but I want to be sure I'd be buying a legit Takara product and not some fake.
In a very difficult place to see, with Breakdown it inside his feet/legs in the white side under the spoiler, not the actual spoiler though, if that makes sense, so when he is in bot mode you can look straight at him and the writing is there but it's white on white get him in good light.
Wildrider is under the hood, pretty easy, Wildrider is the grey one, in case its Dead End you are referring to, the maroon one, its the same spot as Breakdown.
How do AoE Snarl and G1 Snarl compare size-wise? Especially their alt-modes?
If anyone has any photos of the two together, or of the two sets of Dinobots together, and could post it/them that'd be much appreciated.:)
Here's some pic of their beast modes (my G2 Snarl subbing in for G1)

In beast mode AOE Snarl is longer and a bit taller with a smaller head.

Does anyone know what size the TFTM poster that comes with the Platinum Edition Autobot Heroes set is?
If no one has it to give exact dimensions, this was a photo from BotCon... which could be the poster from the boxset...

Can anyone explain the difference between the regular Decepticon logo and the movie Decepticon logo? I know the Autobot movie logo has slanted eyes but I've never been able to tell the difference between the Decepticon variant.
