They really 'culled' a lot of the cast in that ep didn't they

Best moment for me was 'kaboom' followed closely by the annoying kid :D
I know there are a few watchers of The Goldbergs here, so I thought I would mention that according to an email I received (after sending one to Universal) the scheduled release for Season 2 on DVD isn't until November. :(
Watching NCIS and the goth chick went and talked to some expert who was a middle-aged chubby woman. Immediately from her voice I clocked her: Holy Crap! Thats the woman that played the skinny actress friend in Shawn of the Dead! What the hell happened to her?!
Then I remembered I saw Shawn of the Dead when living in England 12 years ago, looked down at myself and realised Shit - I'm chubby and middle-aged now too!:(:o
Well she's been through a bit it seems since The Office days. I just saw her appear in new Wonder Woman movie set photos where she's playing Diana's sidekick and full figured lass Etta Candy
Don't get much downtime at the moment so I'm finally catching up on Legends of Tomorrow. Loving that show. I love when TV shows throw little references to other shows or pop culture.
Trying to free some of the team from being held captive in episode 5 Rip Hunter is going over the plan. Captain Cold played by Wentworth Miller says "This isn't my first prison break" Well played 😎
Glad to see you're still alive Bartrim. I hope the training is going well :)
Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle series 4 began airing and that's nearly the best thing on TV so like I'm happy.
Marvel's Agents of Shield is listed on the TV guide for tonight at 11.12pm, and the description suggests it is a new episode... which only just aired in America in the last 24 hours... making it an odd turnaround from the first half of the season, which had it go to Foxtel first and then show up on Channel 7 about three months later.
The weird thing is why get the rights back to screen it within a day of America (which wouldn't be cheap), just to have it on late at night (three hours after prime time), with no advertising to say it is even on. It's almost like they want it to fail and be a waste of money. (they don't even repeat it like the three commercial stations do with a lot of their programs, sometimes 3 times in the week)
On the plus side, apparently it has been given the green light for a fourth season as of last week.
^ And that right there is why I don't bother with free-to-air anymore. They either show the episodes out of order, never finish the season, or put it on so late at night that it's bound to die a slow death. I like Netflix's strategy of releasing whole seasons upfront so you can watch them at your leisure.
The wife and I had gone off Q&A because it just seemed a platform for Liberal and Labor politicians to blame each other for the countries woes. However last night they had on 5 intelligent environmental scientists so we made sure we were in bed in time to watch it on the bedroom TV.
We were both really enjoying it, but being so tired from the long weekend trip to my sisters we were both asleep after 20 minutes and missed the majority of it :o
Watching it now.
Supernatural has been renewed for another season yay!
Fallen about a season behind with Supernatural. Love the show but never have a chance to watch it and living in the bush not the bandwidth to download it :(
Starting to wonder with some of these shows if I should put a shout out for people who have downloaded them to put them on a memory stick and mail them to me
me and wifey watched too much Criminal Minds and yesterday when waiting for a bus, a uni student kept on talking and asking question from my 1yr old son like we are not there making me ready to fold the pram like a Mech Tech weapon and slam it to him if he do something silly :p
Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman on SBS Food Network Channel (Channel 33). Some of the stuff that gets eaten on this show.
Will start season 2 of Daredevil tomorrow.
No one mentioned Weird Science is on right now on SBS2.
Watching old DVD's of Boston Legal before we go to bed of a night. Damn that show was funny! :D
Denny Crane!
I guess Daredevil is not in this category as is Netflix exclusive?
Been watching up to episode 9 on season two.
Sucker Punch on channel Go! (99) tonight at 8:45PM.
finished DD season two as my netfix was ending.
Saw a trailer for the new Voltron cartoon being produced by Netflix. Looks pretty good! Due in June IIRC.
Marathoned Jessica Jones over the long weekend. Having never heard of the character previously, I went in with no expectations and really enjoyed the ride... though it had its frustrating moments like Daredevil :p
Love Boston Legal. Shatner is brilliant
I could've went to sleep and not miss anything in that Walking Dead season finale. So disappointed!:(
Thought I'd give it a go & watch an episode given the good reviews here. It was so meh. Then I realised I was watching 'Waking the Dead'.
Damn Game of Thrones fans
After Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil and Jessica Jones, I think I've caught up with Marvel's TV series and thought I should sample a few of DC's opening episodes. Just have a taste of each series before committing to a whole season.
Gotham is okay. Would be better if it was just a cop drama and divorced from the Batman mythos because I'm just sitting there thinking how wrong the characters are.
I already dropped Arrow mid way through season 2. This going back and forth to the island is just stupid and why the hell are they trying so hard to make this Green Arrow shaped peg fit into a Batman shaped hole? Deathstroke was great and that's about it.
The Flash is pretty good. It's formula feels a lot like Smallville from back in the day. Growing pains as a man and a hero. Light and enjoyable.
I haven't had a chance to start Supergirl but all indications point to this comparing favorably to The Flash and that sounds good to me. I might watch this side by side with Flash.
Legends of Tomorrow. If one word could describe this it would be: Hokey. Much fun to be but such bad everything. Superhero CG effects on a TV budget, a team of heroes thrown together seemingly at random, laughable scripting/acting and all strung together on the thinnest of plot devices: time travel. Makes me want to ironically watch Mutant-X again.
