Does anyone know roughly how large the JP G1 versions of the Big Powered toys were? (Dia Atlas, Sonic Bomber and Roadfire)
I tried looking them up on Cliffbee but I guess the site doesn't exist anymore.:(

If you have Gen1 Metroplex, this might give you an idea of their size...

Thanks Griff. I have both Metroplex and Star Convoy so that picture makes it easy to compare them.
Or a G1 Ultra Magnus, which is about the same height as Metroplex ;)
My son was asking me which the toughest Decepticon Combiner Leader from G1 was. I said I thought it was Motormaster but he thought it would be Hun-Grrr. The bright little bloke was right! According to the original tech-specs (I miss them!) Hun-Grrr has strength and endurance ratings of 10, just beating out Motormaster and Snap Trap. In fact all the leaders rate pretty high.
I tried to find out who was the leader of the Pretender Monsters but can't find that info anywhere. Did the group ever have a leader?
IIRC Blood (Bomb Burst) was the psuedo Leader in the SGMF cartoon, like Shrapnel and the Insecticons.
Does anyone know if we'll be getting the Siege toys at anywhere other than ToyWorld?
I want that Skytread but not for freaking $40. :(
Is there anywhere I can get hi-res files of the old G1 toy catalogue things?
Also hi-res files of the art work that was on the back of the boxes?
No I hadn’t. Thank you.
When does AmiAmi normally charge for preorders? Day of release? A couple of days before?
Day of release.

My question:
I'm digging the Studio Series line, on and off. But the biggest annoyance is that there is no Concept Camaro version of Bumblebee... Is there any known reason for this? It was the hero vehicle for the first two movies after all.
Yeah, it's not like there's a shortage of Concept Bees, but still...
Yeah... they probably just want to space out the Deluxe Bumblebee toys a bit, as there have already been 9 in the first 30 Studio Series toys (8 if you don't count the WW2 Bumblebee).
Although, we now have a run of 20 toys (28 to 47) that don't include any Bumblebees, so it is a bit inconsistent so far, with them not being spread out more evenly
Yeah, thanks. At first I figured it was because of the MPM-3 being released at a similar time. But that hasn't stopped Optimus, Ironhide, Barricade etc...
Does anyone here have first-hand experience with Black Zarak?
I'm wondering if he is truly so fragile that his gold parts can really be destroyed in transit?
Don't forget that Studio Series Bumblebee is a retool of the New Camaro Bumblebee from The Last Knight. I know that's a 2017 Camaro rather than a 2008 Camaro, but still, perhaps they felt it was too soon and too similar.

Well, I've never seen anything stopping Hasbro releasing Bumblebee Camaros before*, so it's kinds annoying that the one time I actually want one, they don't have it... They have every other main vehicle cast member from the first movie released or announced in the SS line, except the Concept Camaro..!
* I'm pretty sure the deluxe CC Bumblebee is the most reused Transformers mold ever.
https://i.ibb.co/5vXXxfW/meme-nvm.jpg Touché...
Sooo, we've pretty much missed Siege Wave 1 in Target/KMart by now, huh? :(
AFAIK there aren't any Transformers related guests (e.g. voice actors) attending any Aussie conventions this year, yes?
Troy Baker (Steeljaw in RID) and Nolan North (Smokescreen in Prime, Brawl, Cliffjumper and Bruricus in the WFC games) are at Melbourne Supanova this weekend
Um, well Steeljaw is a Naughty Dog. Some versions of Bruticus are a Naughty Dog too! :p
Well I'm very late to the party on this, but have just finished (I didn't want to see it end) the last issue of IDW The Lost Light. Since its been so long, I'm thinking spoiler alert warnings don't apply, and I did a quick keyword search to see if there was an existing Lost Light thread.
I'm really confused, by how it ended. And I'm hoping someone can explain it to me. Three important questions.
1) Why did Rung disappear after making his Matrixes - was it overload, did he know it was going to happen... all that's there is dust but there's one panel where skids appears and pulls him into the roof. Did that happen and he's alive, or is that a flashback to the past?
2) Why does no one remember the presence of Rung (the crew seem to be mindwiped, and one refers to finding Rung's office). When he deleted his patient files was it because he was planning an escape and that's why people were mindwiped?
3) In the last few pages of the final issues, Whirl's 'guard' removes his uniform and it looks like its Rung. Was this just the effect of Primus on the spark field (that they all resemble him), or was it honest to goodness actual Rung/Primus (sorry spoiler alert) hiding in plain sight?
4) Please someone tell me that Rung/Primus is somehow still alive.
Now I'm debating whether to finish Unicron, because I don't want the IDW universe to end with Unicron eating everything and a reboot. If I don't read it, it didn't happen!
Spoilers for those that haven't read the end of Lost Light
Rung died from the effort of creating those matrixes and like his "brothers" crumbled to metal dust upon dying. As he prepared to do this he thought back to his original meeting with Skids (one of his happy memories). The original mindwipe that made him so forgettable continued to affect people after his death so that eventually (in the future) nobody remembered him. The new generation resemble him although there's a potential that he lives on among them, forgotten but watching over the Transformers. The duplicate Lost Light crew might find the Rung of their new universe which is another way he could live on.
And here's the discussion thread for the comic.
Where can i find botbots 8 pack in stores?
From TFwiki:
Though able to manufacture the Matrices, Rung was fully aware the exertion would kill him. Telling Chromedome and Rewind that they should be more forgiving to each other, Rung accepted his fate, taking a moment to recall his time with Skids before deleting his patient files. Once the last Matrix was produced, Rung's body exploded into inert sentio metallico, only his removed glasses remaining. When the Matrices were opened, they indeed overloaded Vector Sigma with the excess energy being shunted to Luna 1 where it reignited the hot spot to reveal a final message from the psychologist: "Don't Forget Me."
Despite the best efforts of the crew, Adaptus's information creep had proven too strong and they soon forgot Rung entirely, not even his quarters being able to rouse Chromedome and Rewind's memories. However, Rung's legacy would live on in another way: the Lunarians, the generation birthed from the hot spot on Luna 1, all had a marked tendency (not that anyone was aware of it) to resemble their progenitor.
I don't know how to answer that without spoilers! :D

*And yes, TFwiki is correctly using the correct plural of Matrix, "matrices"
(just as the plural for index is "indices" etc.)
Any ideas why G1 Hubcap never gets any love from HasTak?:p
Am I the only one that wants a G1 style Legends class Hubcap?:(
Thank you Paulbot for your answers. I'm going to seize on that tiny hope he's around watching on! Thanks :)
Is Siege Aimless compatible with G1 Misfire?
