Yeah though that as well at first. Must have been the titan tag they were using but they would have to be leader sized to combine into a generations metroplex size. Still pretty big :)

I think that if Metroplex is anything to go by, the Japanese version of Devastator could be similar to the SDCC version... with some added bling, but not as much as the SDCC version.
(JP Metroplex had the shiny face, but the SDCC version had shiny face and thighs)
And the pics keep coming at TFW. These seem to be all picked up and mirrored from Weibo users.

Interesting comparison of sizes here.

CW Devi is far from perfect but seeing that I'll most likely have him posed on the top of the shelf somewhat like the below, he'll look great as a stoic piece lording over the smaller bots. :)

Above pic is from T.F.N.D.
...Takara's DID have silver painted thighs though, avoiding the chrome-wear issues the SDCC's will eventually have. ;)
(A whole load more paint apps and better stickers for that matter :D)
SDCC's CW Devy should've been the (Yellow) G2 variant, unless they're intending that to see a retail release (via exclusivity or some such) in which case it should've been the Orange G2 variant. :)
Wow. They tried so hard to get them to look as G1 as possible. It makes Mixmaster's alt mode stand out all that much more
This actual scales well with MPs more then Deluxes
That's kinda why I'll be picking up one version or another of this, due to MP autobots outnumbering decepticons, it'll be displayed with them, while the rest of the CW combiners will be displayed in a different part of the room, mainly due to scale difference with Superion/Menasor/Defensor.
Kind of hope TT has metallic purple rather than chrome.
If anyone's curious about the engineering and what he feels like in hand, two Chinese language video reviews are up already
Part 1: individual Constructicons
Part 2: Devastator
Still wish they could've come up with a way around Scrapper's arms needing to be stiff. A pair of fake arms acting as heels in foot mode for example... but there's still some neat tricks in the engineering. And I think Hasui did his best within all the confines of the project to deliver a Masterpiece esque Devastator (in case the actual thing will never happen).
