Mortal Kombat was always too slow. Street Fighter was better, but Killer Instinct was where it was at :D

I loved TIE Fighter and it made me a Star Wars fan, but could never get it to play on my newer computers. So I will be getting this. They even give you the original versions and the enhanced editions with all the expansion packs and the strategy guides. Great deal for some really good games.
I never liked X-Wing much, playing it second I found it a bit slower/tougher but it kind of felt right as you were a rebel using stolen/not-well maintained equipment etc, compared to the Imperial Navy Forces.
At only $10USD these are good games to try if you never played them in the 90s. Looking forward to blasting up some rebel scum. Match speed with target, divert power to lasers, fire! :)
Finally, that is awesome news :D
You know what, in over 20 years I've never really thought about it. You're absolutely right. Thank you!
Pfft! - Anyone worth their salt knew that "Clay Fighter" was the real King of Fighters. :D:p
Say what? There can be only one! Or in the case of KOF... 13 ish!

Right - youre on!
Wow - I had completely forgotten that game existed
I loved the first one! Always played as Taffy. Clay Fighter 2 sucked - even with the introduction of Sumo Santa
Was never a massive fan of KOF. Overall I was a SF and MK kid growing up, leaning more towards SF overall (Hyper Super Street Fighter II Turbo Championship Edition -they REALLY didnt wanna do SF3 for a while :p). When I got a bit older I went into Dead or Alive, though I ended up playing the Volleyball games more than the fighting ones ;) Used to quite like the Marvel vs Capcom ones too.
These days I only have 2 fighting games for my PS3 - Super Street Fighter 4 which bored me very quickly, and Soul Calibur 4 which I would enjoy more I guess if I could ever bring myself to pick anyone besides Ivy to play :p:o;)
I never played much in the Arcade, but when I did it was always X-Men vs Street Fighter. Love that game.
But at home on the consoles, I was all about Street Fighter II Turbo. I could never get the hang of "press button to block" in Mortal Kombat or the complicated move inputs.
But I haven't found a home fighting game that's beat the PSOne version of Street Fighter Alpha 3, that game is wonderful.
