Very nice. ;)
noiiiice!
I still have to get me a 2-pack :(
Very excited to have finally got Japanese Galaxy Force Vector Prime! To say his transformation is complex would be a severe overstatement. This guy is easier to transform than most legends class figures.

Now comparing this Takara Roots with the Takara Roots from the candy box there is little difference.

However its very apparent at the rear

But hey, now Vector Prime is very well armed.

Vector Prime tries to infiltrate the coneheads.
VP: "Hey Ramjet whassup?"
Ramjet: "Keep trying old man"
The paint apps on the Takara version of VP is definitely way cooler than the Hasbro version... hmm... I'm tempted now (despite the fact I already have all three redeco's of the Hasbro ones) :o
Just a little photo comic i whipped up dedicated to one of my fav g1 episodes, Starscreams brigade, universe/classics style!

Best Freudian slip ever. :DQuote:

However if I typed "gotta love dragstrip's gangsta poses. Maybe I should whip myself again for some photo fun" you could perhaps call that a slip.
Yeah, it's a double entendre, not a freudian slip. Watch Scrubs, and you'll see a character called Todd use Double Entendres well.
Double Entendre is saying something that can have a double meaning (usually a lewd double meaning). Most of the popular sitcoms these days rely on double entendres as their staple diet of generating laughs, because it requires a level of processing the line and then getting the laugh as a reward (as opposed to simple visual, slapstick humour). I see it as an element of power for comedians/writers, as they are know the alternative meanings, and everyone else has to work it out. It can also be an element of perversion by those who constantly try to find double meanings in things that were not intended (like The Todd in Scrubs).
Freudian Slip is planning to say one thing, but end up saying something different by accident, often by being consciously distracted (allowing your subconscious, or auto-pilot, continue your dialogue for you). Kinda like being at the shops and talking about, say, shoes and seeing a hot busty lady walk by... and then hastly try to make out to your wife that you said the word 'boots'... ;)
I should've just replied with "lol" :p Best double entendre/innuendo ever!

Fatality!!!
Flamboyant Victory
It's true that it's hard to put it together, and it doesn't stay together that well, but i would argue that the design it is based on (I'm gueSsing that it's the koto chain base) it's about the same, if not slightly flimsier..
I think I would be able to put it together better if I spent a bit more time on it and if I did it on a proper flat surface as opposed to what I did which was build it on the shelf that it is on.. Kinda bent at a strange angle, trying to put it together. Took a while but I managed!!! And also I skipped the stickers as they actually have clear display monitors cast in Clear (actually a bit opaque) blue plastic.
Am thinking of how I can add to it but haven't come up with a plan yet. Hence leaving of as is. I just wanted to get it on my shelf asap hence a quickish job of putting it together. I still really like it though!
ROTF Bludgeon demonstrating various Kenjutsu (Japanese sword fighting) postures:

Hassō no kamae

Waki gamae
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...dgeon_waki.jpg
I know they're not terribly accurate due to limitations in Bludgeon's articulation, but also because I'm not very familiar with Kenjutsu stances (since it's not an art I practice), and I did these poses based on vague memory without any reference pics in front of me at the time. So apologies to any practitioners of Japanese swordsmanship (e.g. Kenjutsu, Kendo, Iaido/Iaijutsu, Battoujutsu etc.) out there who may be noticing that these positions are somewhat less than completely accurate. :p
A sequel of sorts to my previous post. Feel the drama :D
