It did suck. Luckily the lens wasn't scratched, but took it in to get a clean anyway. Looking at $166 just to get a clean out. If any of the gears are stripped... The guy said about $250 or so for a new lens assembly. Might as well go and buy the next level camera up for that price!Quote:

Sorry to hear dude, that happened with my Father's camera my younger Brother borrowed when he went to Summernats one year; Luckily it was salvageable (Certainly wasn't a camera on the scale you have) though but yeah - Those repairs definitely cost an arm & a leg! :(Quote:
