It's as if something is meant to plug in there. Maybe an as yet unrevealed accessory -- something like a holographic communications projection considering it's coming out of the forearm.

I can't seem to spot anything similar on Cheetor, though his right forearm is covered in most shots as it's the arm holding the gun.

It was one of those random finds, I think I only typed in something vague like "beast wars optimus primal cartoon" and it was there near the top! :D

Thanks to the good people over at TFW2005, it turns out it's from 'Before the Storm'. A little wrist mounted computer. Could this fill the mysterious little notch?
