The easy G1 cartoon only thread :)

1/ It's such a poor effort that I'm guessing Spike drew it :D (He must have been ogling Carly at the time... ;))

2/ Turkey shouldn't even be on that side of Europe (I think they were trying to write "Turkey" on the right :confused:)

3/ Why didn't they race through Greece?! (They were probably afraid of the shocking Roadrage :D)

1) It's Czechoslovakia, not Czech [Republic] (until 1993!)
2) Where the hell is Greece?
3) Austria has no coastline
4) Germany DOES have a coastline
5) France does not share a border with either Russia or Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic
6) The Bosporus is missing
7) Sardinia, Corsica and about 400 Greek islands are missing.

Assuming I'm right, I'll leave the floor open to any Queenslander.

1) Czech can be an abbreviation for Czechoslovakia so I wouldn't accept that answer. :p
2) Greece appears to have been conquered by Bulgaria! So yeah, I'll accept that one. :)
3) The Austrian coastline is there, it's just really freakin' small! But yeah, I'll accept that. :D Austria also now incorporates Slovenia!
4) I'll accept that. :) A large portion of Germany as well as Luxembourg, Belgium and Poland appear to have been conquered by France!
5) I'll accept that too. Again, France has been totally redefined on this map. Paris also appears to have been relocated to Saint-Étienne. :p And forget Russia - the entire Soviet Union (which still existed in 1985*) is missing (just called "Russia" which isn't the same as the USSR)!
6, 7) Yup and yup. Sicily's still there though. Yay. :)

So you definitely got at least three right there so looks like any Queenslander can go next. :D

Other geographic anomalies...
+ Spain has annexed the Montpellier region of France
+ Russia incorporates the Ukraine, thereby bordering the Black Sea, and shares Poland's former territory with France.

*In Transformers cartoon continuity the USSR still existed well into the early 21st Century as we still saw the USSR in existence in Season 3! :D

Ukraine was part of the USSR at that time. Slovenia was part of Yugoslavia.

Not in the G1 cartoon! :D ;)

1) Germany lacks a coastline.
2) Austria is supposed to be land-locked.
3) A lot of the islands in the Mediterranean are missing.
