A moment of silence for our fallen brother.

Not a bad GoT ep this week. Got me a little more involved than I had been previously.
I was hoping Bronn would've impaled Daenerys instead of Drogon. Hell, even Jamie gave it a red hot go. Good on him for having a crack. Of course it's quite difficult when you have a big f off dragon staring down at you, but well done nonetheless. +10
Daenerys gets a -20 for being a spoilt brat. Again.
Arya gets a +10 for her display of badassery.
Littlefinger gets +1 for finally letting go of the walls he loves to hug so much & crawling out of the shadows.
Brienne gets a -10 for being Brienne. Can't wait for The Hound to cleave her in half from top to tail.
And Bran... Bran. Someone roll that catatonic lump off the edge of a cliff already  Fly, Raven, Fly!
Ah, so you're one of those Dany haters. :(:D
I used to like Bronn but he's fighting for the wrong side, and after trying to take a shot at Drogon he's gone way down the list. Hopefully Jamie and him will realise the evil which is Cersei and side with Dany. But at the same time I want Jamie to get back to Kingslanding so he can tell Cersei that it was the savage boss Olenna who poisioned her dirtbag of a son.
Nah, I don't hate Daenerys. She's a good leader, but a terrible ruler. Just look at what she's done and both socially and economically to the cities she's "freed" along with her contradicting sense of justice.
Her claim to being the "rightful queen" is also no more valid than any of the other lords of westeros. If you can take it and claim it as your own just like Aegon the Conqueror did all of those years ago, you can rule it.
Watched the last few episodes of Voltron season 3. Definitely liking where this is going :D
Caught up with GoT. Moving along alot faster and not really getting the sense of emotional impact from characters. Wondering who willl be alive still to battle the Night King. What if the Night King becomes King of the seven kingdoms?:D
:D ha! That's pay-per-view gold right there
Oh, Daenerys. You started off with such pure aspirations, but ended up no different to anyone else staking their claim to the throne.
Bend the knee or death by bbq? That's one way to inspire people to follow you. Oh, right. Shes done that all along. -500,000.
Samuel, let Gilly finish! -1
The 1st exchange with Davos, Clovus and Jon was funny af +1.
The Magnificent 7 at the end was also something worth looking forward to.
I think the missus & I are the only ones who hasn't seen an episode of GoT.
I have seen some highlights but not a full episode.
Well, Ep 6 was leaked and it's been spoiled for me already.:(:(
What satisfaction do people get from ruining this stuff for others?
Well, GOT has finished for the year and ended with the scene I was expecting.
PS I found this last episode took me 3 hours to download. It looks like the industry could be serious about a crackdown on illegal downloads.
Punisher trailer. Oh yes please.
Really enjoyed the first two eps of Star Trek Discovery. Felt more like "Star Trek" than the reboot movies and can't wait to see where they go from here.
It's really interesting watching all the shade getting thrown at it. I just read 3 pages on another message board about how the opening sequence sucked  It seems people are trying their hardest to not like it.
I thought it was quite good. It's not shaping up to be a sciencey exploration show but will hopefully entertain.
And so far I am entertained. I like the concept of the spore drive even if they are fuzzy on the details. And Starfleet are acting in a completely irrational manner by allowing the Discovery to roam the Galaxy.
And why the hell did they destroy the Glenn? Should have just cleaned off the walls and re-crewed it.
Stranger Things 2!... nuff said
Also Voltron season 4 is up and running
Also I don’t mind the new Star Trek, not sure how it is supposed to fit in to the original series as it seems to be in the same timeline?, regardless, I’ve been enjoying it, not sure what all the moaning is about
Netflix The Punisher, first Marvel series I thought of giving a go, think Jon Bernthal does an amazing job in this role, very brutal, thought it was pretty good, not for the kiddies or anyone with a weak stomach when it comes to violance an gore
I've fallen off watching Flash and Supergirl, and never got into Arrow or Legends of Tomorrow, but I caught up with the Crisis on Earth-X crossover and thought it was quite good and just enough of a taste of that combined universe to last me a while.
Meanwhile, given how good the Dreamworks/Netflix Voltron has been, I'm looking forward to see the recently announced Dreamworks/Netflix She-Ra. (I always preferred She-Ra to MOTU.)
Just finished Future Man. Funniest show I've seen in a long time. Be warned though, some of the humour is a bit low brow.
Especially brutal are the last two episodes. And for anyone looking for The Punisher's nemesis? He'll be showing up in season 2.
By the way, I finished watching Stranger Things season 2 and I'm glad the colossal villain is called the Mind Flayer it saves me having to call it the sausage-legged spider.
The Toys That Made Us has arrived in Netflix. 4 eps (Star Wars, Barbie, MOTU, GIJoe). There's no Transformers episode (yet but there's 4 more eps to come and they've tweeted out TF collectors pics and interviewed Peter Cullen and Bov Budianski) but I'm jumping into the GIJoe episode now.
An aside, I know GIJoe from the TF UK comics and never saw an episode of the cartoon as a kid. They played a clip of Cobra Commander from that cartoon and that voice is awful for him!
There is enough similarities between the origins of GIJoe and Transformers that a TF episode might seem redundant.
The thing about GIJoe's origin that surprised me as a casual Joe fan was how only a few of the original 80s line up seem to have become a big deal since. Sure Hawk, Snake Eyes, Scarlett and Cobra Commander remain big names, but who are Zap, Flash and Grunt? Compared to TF's 84 line up that remains so well loved.
I watched the MOTU episode, with was great. Felt a bit too short though, I thought there was way more depth they could’ve gone into. But for an episode of a TV series (rather than a feature length doco) it was very good. I’ll go back and watch the others soon, even though I have no particular interest in GI Joe or Barbie.
i watched the first 3 episodes of that toy one today, i enjoyed them all. especially the MOTU one with the guy making stuff up in the meeting as they went along and the other guy yelling and swearing at the designer about the tiger lol
Just finished watching season 3 of Lucifer and a good twist at the end.:)
Became obsessed with The Good Place over the weekend.
As in, watched the whole run of it.
The guy who created it consulted one of the writers of Lost to figure out the best way to hook the audience into watching the next episode with the ending of the current one and my word did it work.
Watching 'It's Suppertime' on SBS Viceland.
Now THIS is my kinda cooking show and recipe! :D
Just binged on the Netflix's Lost in Space reboot. It's pretty cool, the gender flipped
Dr. Smith played by Parker Posey is a nice contrast to the origin camp version.
Also I did not know that John Woo directed a very 90s - but filmed in 2003 - looking reboot too.
