I'm not touching any DOTM DVDs unless they have special features, seems shelf-warming with DOTM knows no bounds...:p
I spoke with the Paramount distribution coordinator at a Target function, where they were outlining releases for Christmas and early January. There was only mention of the single disc DVD.
The reasons given where that, though they try to get as many special features as they can on the DVD releases, they are limited by
1 - what they can fit on a DVD (much more storage space on a Bluray than even 2 DVDs)
2 - what they are told they can have be the film's producers and development company
In the case of DotM, it appears that higher ups prevented them from adding any special features the DVD, although they would have liked to do so.
Sorry to bear the bad news.
Not fussed with the whole special effects/making of movie DVD thing...I never watch watch them. I'm just happy to have it on blu-ray:D:D:D
So... when are we supposed to be getting the Transforming case version? In the absence of special features, that's the only way Paramount is going to get my hard earned cash.
Transforming case released 9th of February

They are charging $40 for a case??? The single disc BDs are only $15 each, with the 3D edition of the 3rd movie available for as low as $40. Add to the fact they are all regular editions and this case is a massive fail.
Hmmm.... still no mention of extra features in that set either. (but a 4-disc TF3 Bluray release is new I think, so maybe extras in that).
