Didn't Hasbro state something about not being able to secure the Lamborghini license outside of Japan?
If that's true then there's not going to be a Hasbro release.
i'm gonna make my own master piece Siders. This thing is depressing.
I remember hearing/reading this also, hence I've not expected a Hasbro release of Lambor at all. :o
I'd really-really love to pick one up but his priority paled in comparison to that of Soundwave & his Minions, I'm hoping that he'll hang around for a while though. :o
I don't think it's that they can't get the license, it's just that they currently don't have the license. Would Hasbro do it to release 1 (maybe 2 if they do Red Alert) toy? I don't know.
I just realised that the price I paid for my MP Lambor was the Amazon exclusive early bird discount price because I preordered it ASAP -- now the preorder price is 7290JPY ($82). :/ But that's the Amazon exclusive version... the RRP for the regular version is 6090JPY ($74) which is about the cost of an Ultra. Expenseeve. :( (glad I got the early bird discount now)
Is that inclusive of shipping? I'm also not fond of the face. Don't hate it per se, but I can't say I like it either. :o
It looks as good as any third party item which people are paying close to that price point vs size. Maybe Has/Tak have taken notice of the third parties and seen the collectors shelling out $60+ for deluxe size figures. Maybe we as collectors can only blame ourselves:rolleyes:
Definitely higher prices than before. My preorder through RK for MP-12 with the Amazon pile drivers was $63 plus $20 shipping. From memory back when I did preorder there was only about $5 difference between the two options. Either way, both are up.
