Probably the most geewon (and legal) Megatron we're ever going to see. I'm all over this like Gok on translating

I think if his upper chest could widen with his shoulders the proportions would be much better. I am warming to the G1 look but the Armada one can burn as I have always really liked the 2002 design.
Apparently (on TFW) the swirly stickers are not clear backed and are the colour of the sheet? Do people have this?
The sticker sheet is white... I haven't applied the stickers, but I'll check tonight
Update: Stickers are white background, will not apply.
A great figure that excellently exudes G1 Megatron in robot mode, with a G2 Megatron style tank mode. They've done a good job in making the tank panels also look gun-esque -- it almost looks as if it could transform into a Walther P-38! :D They've even sculpted faux gun-handle grip lines on the outer sides of the legs. :) The rolling tank treads were an extremely pleasant surprise. The cannon is also really well done; it's the same concept as we've seen on toys like Classics Deluxe Megatron, only executed a lot better. I really like how the fusion cannon can swing 180 degrees to either resemble G1 or Armada Megatron's cannon. Speaking of which, I think that this toy was initially conceived to be G1 Megatron, w/ Armada Megatron worked into the design afterwards. Handsprime was with me when I bought this toy, and we both opened our CW Megatrons at the same time and did a direct comparison, and IMHO this toy is conceptually, first and foremost, G1 Megatron. Having said that, there are some neat design elements that were put in for the sake of the Armada Megatron retool, including dead Mini-Con ports, and the aforementioned fusion thing. The paint ops on Armada Megatron is actually really nice and helps to make that toy look more like Armada Megs. The paint ops on G1 Megs is notably less, but for the G1 Megatron character, it's a case of "less is more." :) My only minor gripe is that I do wish that the chest logo was on a flippable panel -- but this isn't a design flaw per se. :o
Highly recommended.

P.S.: The bio is actually reasonably well written too -- looking at Megatron's rise as the people's hero to his fall to becoming a tyrant. It's a lot better than what we typically see in recent bios, and is a refreshingly welcome change from just telling us how physically powerful and kick-butt this character is. At least it's making some attempt at telling us who Megatron is, and not what he is. The English bio does suffer from some typographical errors (too many or not enough spaces) which the French, Spanish and Portuguese bios don't seem to have.
Wow! This guy looked rubbish in the press shots, but in hand, the colours, design and feel are just wow!
To me the stickers are kinda 'meh', but glad they included them. Super impress by the turrnet/gun mechanism, just wish he had some more feet articulation... ah well!
Now to find Amarda version (which I was not planning to get until I had this guy in hand!)
I must say, I wasn't convinced when I first saw him, but after reading everyone's reviews I thought it would be worthwhile! Now that I have him, I can definitely say he is. He's a lot of fun, with lots of G1 likeness! The tank mode has a nice design and is fun to play with... I'm really enjoying that extendable turret :)
