Thought some of you would like to see some photos of what I managed to find in HK in terms of G1 (Ins Point shopping centre). Photos taken in early May during a 1 day stop over.
Most of the other stores that I visited (Sinos Centre, CTMA, Richmond Centre) mostly dealt with all the newer lines (Encore, Henkei, Masterpiece etc).
As some of the other guys have posted here, it's not exactly a pleasant shopping experience because all the shops are more cubicle like. These cubicles are really cramped (some only fit 1 person at a time!) and because the shopping centres get very crowded, you feel a bit rushed and don't have much time to go through all the items on display (particularly loose items which are just mixed all together).

Did you remember how much they were asking for for twincast and soundblaster?
Unfortunately this store was closed when I was in HK.
But I zoomed in on the original size photo... TwinCast and Soundblaster were both $980HKD each or about $160AUD each.
Devastator was marked as $6800HKD or about $1110AUD.
Bruticus was marked as $3980HKD or about $640AUD.
Raiden was unmarked.
Thats unbelievably cheap I so wish I was over there I would of snapped them up in a heartbeat. Do you remember the name of the store I might see if I can get my cousin to have a look next time hes over there
does anyone have the addresses or locations for these malls?
currently in tsim sha tsui but was at mongkok last night but just on the streets and the typical tourist streets
was so large and so many shopping centres I didn't bother going into them
Don't underestimate some of the local regular stores there. They often get Hasbro stuff that we never got and occasionally Takara TFs too; I once found heaps of Pepsi Convoys at a Jusco in Hang Hau.
I think thats the point - the toy stores don't stand out. they are hidden within the mass shopping centres. Here are some photos of the ones I found (sino centre, toy mart and some hobby store). Sino centre and toy mart have heaps of toy stores in them but really really tightly packed.
