Looking at my Megatron, I think that's just due to plastic colour choices and paint shading giving a better profile.
The specific positioning may be playing a factor too.

The Jurassic Park 2-pack is scheduled for release here in the first week of October (probably be delayed though), and someone has already obtained a packaged sample to show off, showing us both modes of each toy, compared to some related previous toys.
(America has this scheduled for November)
Looks great as a set
I could probably see someone doing an upgrade head for the Jeeep. Also the new Maximal Grimlock should look great with the T-Rex. I haven't gotten any of the proper Beast Wars dinosaurs but these Autobot versions are definitely more my thing.
Reports are popping up of cancelled orders from Amazon AU.... but so far not all orders are cancelled.
May be due to stock levels, may be a slow rollout of cancellations. Unsure until more data comes in.
At present, My 3rd June order is still good.
