I wouldn't have liked that. You could always just get a Generations Thundercracker and paint the face red yourself if it bothers you that much (being a common retail figure means it'd be much cheaper and easier for you to get one to do so - and you wouldn't be depleting the pool of limited exclusives as you would if you were to do the same with a BotCon or Gentei Thundercracker).
The people complaining are just being silly <devices used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons> :p I have excusive Gentei Thundercracker, and I'm absolutely delighted to see Generations Thundercracker coming out because that's the way he SHOULD have been released in the first place! I got Gentei Thundercracker not because I thought, "Ooh! A rare limited exclusive! I'll get that cos it'll make me more hard core as a collector!", but rather I actually thought, "Whaddaya mean he's a limited exclusive? He costs HOW much?!?" -- then bit the bullet and bought it because I had no choice at the time. Because I wanted a "Classics" Thundercracker, I had to get him as an exclusive... not because I wanted to by choice per se. IMO exclusive toys should be limited to characters with a limited appeal and would not be viable as mass release store toys. Acid Storm should have been a limited exclusive and Dirge, Thrust and Thundercracker should have been regular retail figures to begin with.Quote:
