So with all the recent sales on movie figures, I kinda went on a bit of a rampage...

...and yes...that is both Buster Prime and Jetfire in Bot and Alt modes as well as Jetpower Prime in the middle...which means...yes...I bought three twin packs :o

not to mention BB and SS in Bot and Alt modes...

Just can't find Megatron :(

bit hard to see but got my TFC Prime and G1 Rodimus to go with my "Masterpeice in bot mode and G1 in Alt mode theme". Still waiting for my G1 Grimlock to arrive :mad:

Man, not that the TFC isn't nice, but should have went for g1, either mib or misb... or AFA. Especially only getting a select few figs...I'm sure you can afford it :D

Already have the Hasbro/Generations on display. Also thought from early pics that Generations one was superior. Got a united one to keep misb for completion's sake and pre-ordered before all your lovely pics of the united version, which changed my mind :D

Caught up with Heroic Decepticon (and will almost certainly later this week) to get some Henkei goodness.

Causeway Bay first stop:

Henkei Ramjet
Henkei Sideswipe
Henkei Galvatron
Generations Scourge (i feel like creating an army).

On a side note, Generations/United are sold out so fast here. I am a bit surprised Hasbro arent releasing more.

I remember the good ol days of 1985 where there were a whole shelf at Kmart and all the seekers and cars there...
(if only I had a time machine :)

United perceptor!! I got a spare so I could try matching paints for th strip on his back tha is just plastic..
That said I haven't gone to any trouble with part swapping yet as I will hav to knock the pins out for the chest piece, but with no effort at all the arms and shoulder cannon can be swapped! Huzzah! Henkei Perceptor is taking shape. (:

hey that looks awesome... looks like you need to pick up a g1 ghost starscream too(or ehobby version which ever release it was)

when displayed like that.. it make the case for buying multiples stonger.

Blitzwing was my second TF ever as a kid and my first Decepticon, so you can't put a price on re-living your childhood (even if it is the re-issue and not the original G1 toy). :)

I 100% agree, you can't really put a price on reliving things from your childhood as there is just no other feeling like it - Glad you've been finally able to acquire Blitzwing dude! ;):cool:

Got myself a Battle in space pack, was surprised that the matrix was metal.

Mate brought me back RtS Ironhide and an old TF movie interrogator Barricade from the USA. Was not really interested in either figure, but hey it was very nice of him to grab them for me, and they were so cheap it ends up being two for hte price of one figure bought in Australia.

Also painted up an old KO figure, but will take pics later when I finish some more.

It's not whether I can afford it, it's the justification in spending $400+ for a MISB or AFA graded item that will forever remain sealed simply for the sake of nostalgia.

Having said that though, I'm still keeping my eyes out for a MISB or AFA graded one and may pick one up if it's the 'right price'. ;)

+1 I was quite shocked myself after expecting it to be made out of plastic and the chrome being painted on... good bonus I suppose. :)

Thanks Hursticon! I gotta admit, I wasnt all into the movie figures at all what so ever...but then I bought the cheap starscream...and going by my current trend of how I display my transformers ie: bot and alt modes, I just couldnt stop! haha

Very nice. Always been one of my fav alternators. It seems yours is the Euro variant (or a reissue, I just can't figure it out). The US release (or initial release) has Mirage as artwork on the bubble sides instead of a photo of the toy.

I got these 2 for 60each shipped which i thought was pretty cheap! Ghost starscream is not a KO i have another real one i bought off a board member to compare side by side and identical. will open it later

Scored the BIS 2 pack and RTS Perceptor from Target on the last day of the sale, and now it turns out BigW is offering the BIS pack for $25 :( Feel sorry for the guys that rushed out and bought it @ $49.99...
