Thanks! Been looking for this for a while. Woulda been a treat to have been able to see this scene on the big screen.

Saw it last Friday night and thought it was a good popcorn flick. Can't help feeling as though I've seen it somewhere before - bad guy goes to tall building in city and uses a device to open up a portal to bring through an army who then trashes said city  ;) :p
Stayed until the end in the hope of seeing the version with the extra scene. Thanks for posting it Goki.
I have seen it twice (3D on opening night and 2D) and have 2 more invites to go see it (which I will)
In my opinion this is the best CBM. There was a massive risk this could be a disaster and people were concerned Joss Wheldon was directing it. But from a fan of his (comics, not tv shows), I knew he could write a great script.
He has now wrote his own ticket with a $1b movie by end of next week. He almost guarantees to do Avengers 2, but i feel for him. The pressure to make it better is huge... lucky he has a stake of great stories to work with (Civil War, Infinity Gauntlet).
Personally one of the best popcorn flicks I have watched in the last decade.
Now the pressure is on Iron Man 3 to be huge again.
Agreed. I will watch it for the 3rd time this week.
My hopes for the future
Ironman 3
I know they are talking bout going down the extremis angle with IM3 which I'm ok with but please introduce Pym
Thor 2
Don't really care what story arc they use but end credit scene will have Thanos stealing the infinity gauntlet. Enchantress and Loki villains.
Captain America 2
Baron Zemo should be a pretty popular choice for villain here or possibly winter soldier
Hulk
Really no idea what direction they take this. Depends if they just ctrl-alt-del Ed norton hulk or continue canon. Maybe Red Hulk???
Avengers 2
Pym joins avengers. Would like to see ultron as the main antagonist in is movie. There are so many cool ways they could take it. Possibly masters of evil to tie in other movies but too much of a battle mash up one would think.
Avengers 3
Thanos infinity war
On a side note. Anyone into avengers earths mightiest heroes? Season 2 is seriously kicking ass. Possibly one of the greatest comic animations also.
EMH is good but no JLU
You guys heard the rumours of EMH demise? Talks of it being cancelled
The only thing I hate about EMH season 2 is the intro being narrated instead that awesome song.
Surely with the popularity of the movie interest in the cartoon would increase.
I saw the movie again today soooo good. I watched an interview with Joss Whedon and he said that the first cut was 3 hours long and we can expect to see it the deleted scenes on the DVD/Blu-Ray :D
+1000 Hate it so much and then the "Avengers Assemble" right at the end so lame, but other than that a great show.
Finally saw it last night. Awesome movie!!!!!!!!!!! Loved it. Will Definately see it again.
See it three times like I did! For the love of the Avengers!
I do want to see it for the fourth time now though, and I'm also keen to watch Buffy and Angel. Loved Firefly and Serenity since they came out but was never a fan of Dollhouse. Think Joss Whedon's now one of the people that I look up to in life and hope to be like in my later years :D
I was covering a PE class today (cos my class was doing NAPLAN) -- they were playing frisbee. I put attached one frisbee to my watch then stuck my arm up and yelled, "AVENGERS, ASSEMBLE!" :D
The only thing that sucks about the Avengers is the damn soundtrack. I only liked the first track by Soundgarden but the rest is just unrelated, half-arsed garbage!
Movie soundtracks are garbage in general. Some generic compilation with a movie themed cover.
So theres going to be heaps of features on br and dvd!! yes!!! 2 disc dvd with the specials!!!!

Tell me I read that right, there is going to be all those features on a dvd combo pack!!!
The worst part is when they include songs that are neither in the film nor are related to anything about the film. Like in the TF Bayverse soundtracks. Seriously... if the song isn't in the film or singing about Transformers, I don't want to hear it!
don't be silly, just walk in and buy it from who ever has it cheapest. The only thing a pre-order guaranties is a high price! Its the freaking Avengers, BD/DVDs will be everywhere on release, no one had an issue getting Avatar on release, and no one will have an issue getting the Avengers!
Loving the fact that the worldwide gross is now $1,186,653,451
#4 in history
I'll be sure to seek cover :-P
Anyone watching Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes? Next Wednesday on ABC3 we actually overtake the US with Season 2 staring Red Hulk! Just like we did with season 1. They are pissed on the message boards lol
I'm still (very) slowly making my way through season 1 :/
I was just reading that Avengers:EMH (*) has been cancelled, and will be replaced by a new series "Marvel Avengers Assemble" that's based on the Avengers movie.
Can't help but be reminded of a certain Animated show being replaced with a Prime show more like the big movie(s).
* I know that's how people refer to it, but everytime I read EMH I hear 'Please state the nature of the medical emergency".
It's now the third highest grossing film of all time behind only Avatar and Titanic.
And is now rumoured to be re-released in cinemas just before the blu-ray release, a Directors Cut making it 3 hours long :)
