Video Review of the Hot Toys Avengers Black Widow
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIAtaiz6Z8o
What a beautiful piece, figuratively and literally ;) I must say this Head sculpt from Hot Toys is Top three for me along with the 89 joker and the dx11 laughing sculpt (ones I own at the moment). It's a perfect likeness of Scarlet in the Avengers. On top of that she is using the smaller female body opposed to the larger body that the iron man 2 version used. In much better scale now.
Articulation is great as it has double joints on knees and elbows, the waist is hindered by the suit but the ab(boob) crunch makes up for it. The only other hindrance is the ankles due to a moulded boot, not a huge issue as they are moulded in a natural a-stance. The Suit is very free moving, though I wouldn't over stretch it (risk of tearing is possible) also I would suggest against leaving it bunched up too long as it may/will crease.
I highly recommend this figure and especially if you are collection the Avengers line she is a must. A very well done figure.

Nice. I remember seeing Eva-01 at Game Infinity; the size alone makes it pretty impressive. What does Eva-02 come with?
Last week at Supanova, I got DX-10 Terminator:

Video Review of Hot Toys DX-11 The Joker 2.0 from the Batman Film; The Dark Knight.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE4sU...O7P6ta0oxNwf9Q
An absolutely superb and in my opinion, must have release from hot toys for batman fans and general collectors alike. With Stunning sculpts, fantastic tailoring and an array of great accessories The Joker is top shelf.
Some of the highlights of the Dx release are the laughing head sculpt and the terrogation set up which includes a table and chair as well as a fantastic backdrop.
Articulation is fantastic as usual on a slim truetype body and almost any of the jokers iconic poses are possible. The only hindrance is the one piece head/neck sculpt as it limits the range of head posing. Though this is a very minor complaint as both sculpts are so good. The 'Pers' (poseable eyeball rolling system) make the head sculpt incredible.
Overall I think its a 9/10 (its must be perfect for a 10/10) the coat could be a little more 'worn' but that again is a minor complaint on such a complete figure.
Highly recommended and very true to the source material.
Pick it up.

Video Review of the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark I.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Erj9F...O7P6ta0oxNwf9Q
This think is super cool. Another Highly detailed release from Hot toys. Though at the time of this review it had been out for a few year and a second release has been released. It still holds up well. The only real differences between this release and the '2.0' are a different paint job, a updated head sculpt and a environment figure stand/base.
With a highly intricate system of actual wired and cables as well as fantastic representation of the armour in plastic form, the mark one is awesome. Highly recommended, especially if you are interested in owning the hall of armour.

Anyone selling any Iron man figures?
It's worth looking at eBay as well, if you haven't already - you should be able to get one there for less than $500 posted.
Selling my Hot Toys Tumbler (black) if anyone is interested.
$700
I got one of the original city hunter preds off ebay for a good price. Still umming and ahhing about the scar though
If you've got the money/can find a good deal and you have a space for it, I say go for it. I've seen the stock photos of the new one on the Hot Toys website, and it certainly looks impressive. Have you seen/read any reviews?
As an aside, for anyone who's interested, I'm selling a 1:6 P90 on eBay.
Nah I heven't read any. I don't imagine it would be much different to the first release. I like the old school ones, like city hunter and the orignal pred, but theres something about the more armored look which i like too. Just a shame the two avp films were terrible.
'66 Batman & Robin. :D

Video Review of the Hot Toys MMS187 The Last Stand Wolverine
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hum_X...O7P6ta0oxNwf9Q
Another shinning example of Hot Toys Craftsmanship. Based on Hugh Jackmans portrayal of Wolverine in X-men: The Last Stand. A very well made 1/6 replica of the outfit from the movie, metal (sharp) claws and a cool base.
The head sculpt on the figure is fantastic, very high level of detail and paint work. A high level of contention with the sculpt is the expression, it is not very photogenic and tends to look very odd in photo and also in video. In person the sculpt looks great and with the right pose the teeth work very well. The likeness is pretty good in my opinion, though due to the expression it can appear to be off.
The articulation on the figure is great, though the suit can restrict it. With double jointed elbows and knees as well as a muscular true-type it can be put into most required poses. The suit mainly restricts the ab crunch and the head movement. The figure has fantastic range at the ankles but they also tend to be very weak so using one of the stands is advised. The figure has standard hand articulation but the glove design hinders the movement as the cuff is very long and quite often pops off when moving the wrist. It can be very annoying.
Parts count is low. Though it's seems high due to the inclusion of the sentinel head figure stand. The stand looks great and does it's job, but it isn't screen accurate and it tends to has a somewhat 'cheap' feel. It come with a pair of relaxed hand on in box and also close with a pair or fists and a pair of clawed hands. But that's it... An extra head would have been great and padded out the price a bit.
Overall its a great figure and I do recommend it weather you are a fan of the film or not.

are you getting the new wolverine ?....that looking good as well ..
Dkaris: I haven't looked at many reviews, but I think this one is good - it shows all the features of Scar 2.0, plus a brief comparison with the old one. Where the first one had to be assembled out of the box, the new one is already assembled. Also, you have two display options for the mandibles, whereas you don't with the old one.
KalEl: Nice pics! Are you going to make a pictorial for Mk VII?
Personally, I find the snarling face somewhat sensitive to the angle you're viewing it at - of those three, I think it looks best in the last picture.
The new Wolverine due next year looks pretty good, too...
I recently got Hot Toys' Barney Ross from Expendables 2:

With the Terminator:

Hot Toys' Iron Man Mk. XXXVIII ('Igor'). I want one.
Dkaris, if you haven't decided on Scar yet, would you consider Celtic? He's due out early next year.
So sick and tired of these stupid iron man releases. I can understand the mk 4 5 6 7 etc but all these other ones that were in the movie for like 2 minutes is kinda shit.
btw celtic pred is up for pre order
Of the 'Iron Legion' suits, Igor is the only one I'm seriously considering getting. (I have Mk 42 and Iron Patriot on preorder.) I've briefly considered getting Silver Centurion, but probably won't. Heartbreaker and Red Snapper don't interest me that much.
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I recently got HT Black Widow. Here she is with a spare submachine gun I had around:

I also got a machine gun for my HT Barney Ross:

And finally, I recently did a kitbash on my Bond figure:
http://www.onesixthwarriors.com/phot...mageuser=81652
http://www.onesixthwarriors.com/phot...mageuser=81652
from the pic bond look like he got a big head !:p
At the moment I've got the next Hot Toys 1989 Joker (Mime version), Sideshow Toys Snake Plissken (Escape from New York, Sideshow exclusive edition) and the die-cast Hot Toys RoboCop (1987 film obviously!) ordered, with Joker due in December, RoboCop due in March, and Snake in August.
Pleasantly surprised with the pics of the Sideshow Snake prototype.
They'll go nicely with the 89 Batman/Joker, and the Arnold T800s from T1 and T2. Much as I wanted, I couldn't justify the DX on the T800 owning the original.
All I can think of still buying (if they make it) is a Kyle Reese. I told myself when I first purchased a HT figure that I was going to have VERY strict rules about them (ie: no new properties, only ones I've loved for at least 10-15 years).
