Cheers buddy. I bought that Exile cab from the said online store a while ago. But the little voice inside my head tells me that he's incomplete.........incomplete .........incomplete without the trailer.

I'm keen to acquire Prime with red feet. From what I've read, it was sold in some European countries???

But the holy grail (which belongs in another thread) is the Convoy Gold version. Very rare indeed. Anyone wanting to trade for my left kidney. :p

The red feet Prime was manufactured under licence by Ceji Revel in France & from memory just sold there & in the UK. Nice piece, i'm after one of those along with the gold chrome version also :)

My goal for the year is to pick up all the 3rd party headmasters currently on offer and track down the original g1 headmasters to match. Headmasters were my favorite as a kid and I managed to score original Fortress Maximus and Scorpinok. Don't ask what my pre-teen self did to poor Highbrow. I haven't forgiven my younger self to this day!

My collection goal for the remainder of the year are from the Collectors Edition:
Gapple (#47)
Ramjet (D-56)
Thrust (D-57)

Its proving elusive.

Those toys are very elusive, even in Japan. Good luck. :o

^ Price is proving the biggest barrier. The asking price is way above what I can and willing to pay for. It's ransom prices I tell you. :p

Yeah, I just got the local tru Hasbro reissue of grapple. The hook is gray instead of chrome, but it's much cheaper and easier than getting the elusive Japanese reissue. My original G1 Grapple's hook is chrome, but is damaged. I'd get an encore reissue in a heartbeat. ;)

I wish. Those 3 characters I need to complete the "limited edition" ones. There's plenty of mass release characters from this series that I'm still chasing. This will be the last series I'll be chasing & that'll be it.

I would love to finish off my Encore Collection this year the main set at least some of the variants can wait but all I need is

Go To BOTCON. While there wrangle some good american prices for stuff. hopefully pick up another Headmaster Triplechanger to partner up with the one I bought last time I was at Botcon.

I would have to agree with most everyone and say masterpiece UltraMagnus. Don't think I'll wait for the off chance that this guy will get a western release.
MP Wheeljack is a very close second.


3. What would you like to see in the Thrilling 30 line
If by Thrilling 30 you also mean other figures released this year as a part of the 30th anniversary celebration I'd like to see more Target Masters, a couple Headmasters and the thought of a Titan Class Trypticon makes me all tingly.

I have a feeling that by the end of the year we'll at least have news of a Generations Arcee.

Went to Botcon and on the first pass around the Dealer Room found a very minty loose Apeface for $100 US. didn't even haggle.
I have managed to get most of the general line product I was after for the year, just picked up AOE Snarl. waiting on the amazon Slog and the AD31 Optimus to eventually arrive in the mail.
I have the generations skids in my hands now but I haven't opened it for fear it's part of the first run with assembly issues. Waiting to hear news of a Takara release still. I have some more recent generations releses sitting in a POL and will be pre-ordering some more esp takara windblade and arcee from Robotkingdom after Christmas when the funds creep back.

I'm still Anticipating MP UltraMagnus he's on a pre-order with exhaust so it will be a while till I see him in hand. I was very happy with MP Wheeljack and should have MP BB in the next week or so.

Well we did get news of a headmaster, I don't thin k it will lead to any more but it would be nice.
We've got a Deluxe Arcee now so I was a little pessimistic in that forethought.
While we've not heard anything about another Titan class city, there is a rumour of a Titan class Voyager six pack that forms Devastator and I think that has me more tingly.

A complete set of dinobots from the new movie.

Done! Picked up Snarl just a week or so ago. They are nifty. Now I have to decide whether I also want the Platinum Edition set, and if I can afford it.

2. What is your most anticipated figure of 2014?

MP EVA Prime.

It's not looking good on this one. I had the money saved up but suddenly got hit with needing to get a medical done for my visa, so the money went on that instead. It's possible I can get it next month, if it stays in stock somewhere, and if I work hard instead of spending all my time on Ozformers... crap.

3. What would you like to see in the Thrilling 30 line?

Less focus on early G1 toys and more on later G1 and other neglected eras.

Big win, with several Beast Wars releases, Armada updates, and obscure characters coming out. Looks like next year we're back to early G1 as the theme, which is a downer, but at least it's Combiners and there's that new Prime which opens up some interesting prospects.

Bonus Answer: In the tradition of Skullcruncher ;) my most anticipated collecting event this year was the arrival of the UK half of my collection. It did arrive at the beginning of last month and now the two worlds have been united into one, leaving me needing to buy extra shelving units. I currently have only one shelf out of four dedicated to TFs, with a few on the "special" shelf next to the window. I'm thinking of doing an all-TF display next year for a bit, so I'll post up pictures then.

Yep. Was a little scary but mostly just very exciting to have it travel all that way. The company moving it got a bit useless once it arrived in Australia though. But I'd packed it all myself before moving out of my place in England, so I knew it would be all right.

I'd like to see:
Generations Titan Trypticon, MP Galvatron (hell knows what Hasbro would do with it), Generations Arcee, Deluxe or Voyager (preferably the latter) Barrage, Venom and Chopshop, and a FOC Slug/Slag. Some more BW characters would be nice as well.

Overall, from the little we had at the start of the year, I think I did really well. There are still some figures I missed, like Rhinox, Hoist and Skywarp, but they should be simple enough to track down in the future.

I obtained a lot more than what I had wanted, such as Jetfire, Crosscut, Nightbeat, Brainstorm, Cliffjumper, Gears and Acid Storm, all of which I have no regret in purchasing. They just have to arrive (minus Brainstorm, he'll be in the next POL, probably with Leader Megatron and some other stuff, Arcee included) from BBTS.

Lets see how I did:

1: *Did take a mate from Swan Hill to see TF4 in Gold Class along with a Melb mate and M-Bot
*Only got Windsweeper and Pretender Grimlock from G1. Got a helluva lot of Generations toys though, pretty much nearly every one that got released this year and a couple from previous years

2: *They did release a Leader-class TF4 Grimlock which I supsequently got, though not sure you would class him as 'huge'
*Hopefully MP Magnus will turn up at HLJ this month

3: *None of these turned up in the Thrilling 30 line :( However we are getting a G1-styled Arcee (which is even better!), a leader-class G1-styled Jetfire, Dead End will come out in the Combiner Wars toyline next year and I did get the TFCC version of Slipstream


So overall not too bad for what I set out for in January :)

I've since had the pleasure of being involved w/ the Hasbro release of this figure. This toy comes out in Japan on December 27, so most of us won't receive it until January at best. Still looking forward to the local release in February though. :)

#1: Have got most Generations figures (although a few too many have been disappointing) and have been very selective on AOE

#2: Rattrap looks good although I've still not opened him. Over the course of the year this changed to MP Bumblebee

#3. Bombshell is coming and looks great, no Kickback yet. There's something claiming to be Gears but I'm not convinced. Same with the coming Optimus repaint as Huffer.
