huh? I ordered at 8:52 and it was available for at least another 20 minutes after that.

For those that missed out, the Robot Kingdom pre order price of US $149.90 looks to be the next best alternative. Shipped via air mail parcel works out to be about A$250.
Up on TT mall now.
Missed out on the PC pre-order (didn't even know about it). Ended up costing me $260-ish from RK.
Just noticed there's no white on the knee pads of the display figure even though there's white featured on the box and stock photos:

Hopefully they're still tweaking colours...
This baffles me as I have never bought anything from PC as nothing is ever available.
Saying that, I have preordered my Thrust from BBTS. Yes it's dearer but I don't have to pay for it in advance and I need lots of money atm for Lego purchases!:D I only buy MPs these days so after Thrust, it's Inferno.
As for the look of Thrust, not particularly happy about the colour scheme but LOVE that face sculpt! Somes me up perfectly.
High chance not as is October is probably in production.
Quite a number of people are not overly happy that PC decision to only do one run due to the jokers who can't read eta times of other runs.
Worse yet you have jokers telling people off "you don't like what PC is doing buy from other sources "
Indeed I have stepped out and obtained three from TT mall . Imo PC lost potential profits and maybe a customer. I think PC should open a survey to see the majority vote.
If anything rk and bbts made more new customers. In any way it's PC"s decision so it is what it is.
Each to their own I guess? I had no issues with late items at good prices.
But either some people are so overly sensitive when someone got an item from PC and people start crying where's mine.
So did anyone went for TT mall option?
I'm in the "don't care if it takes longer if its significantly cheaper" basket so PC have me for a while at least.
The zipPay option was definitely a contributing factor in Thrust selling out so quickly, so even if PC were to offer a second run, you'd still have to camp out before the 8.30pm opening and play the refresh game.
If you are unable (or unwilling) to do so, then unfortunately you're going to miss out. Looking at the US situation, Thrust sold out quickly at The Chosen Prime and Toy Dojo, with BBTS the only major US retailer to still have him (no listing at TFSource).
Yeah I am still with them but I think is back to the refresh and click.
I am wondering if it's ONLY because is a limited item but hasbro Asia is not, that they only do one run.
I am unsure if they are going to do one run for inferno or cheetor and if so I think I have to go back to Japan sources.
Looking back at Unite Warriors Computron and MP Primal, both were only a single run (price was the same until sold out), and as they weren't "exclusives", there was no cap on the limit you could purchase -- with the exception of the special we got on Primal which was for only one (although you could still buy more than one Primal at the regular price).
So from that, if Inferno and Cheetor are mainline releases, there should be no cap on purchase amount and plenty of time before being sold out -- I think Computron lasted a week, and Primal at least a month before being sold out.
Of course, the zipPay option has blown things open, so who knows how long items will last now.
lots of unknown, I was adjusting after MP-25l not that I was desperate for it but I realised they were going with one run mainly.
Shockwave was luckliy to have second reissue run at all.
God knows what, but I am sure they will review how this style is running for them.
This affects Transformers toys only though, Their Marvel stuff had a second run on the Captain America shield and ironman helmet. So they did not apply it throughout their inventory.
According to this post by PC, first round exclusives account for 70% of all orders and mainline releases will not be affected.
Regardless, I still find it safer to play the refresh game, particularly with zipPay now increasing buying opportunities.
I had a meeting that was scheduled for the same time as PC was taking orders of the MP Thrust. Ended up ordering earlier in the day from RK, as I did with the previous TT Mall exclusive seekers.
Pretty sure you could take a toilet break as it took only 2 minutes to place an order on your phone.
That's why you have to practice your "apology face" when you show up five minutes late... :p
I usually order within the first minute and find that anything after 10 to 15 minutes you start to get a bottleneck with people reporting sold out whilst others are reporting successful buys.
Did stopping the press look like this?:

Up at Anime Export:

Yeah, but posted just as another option.
PC have said on their FB page that non-payments for Thrust will be listed on the 14th at 9 am.
I gather the 1 per person limit still applies, so this is probably for those people that missed out on Friday.
Preorder is up at TFSource $179.99
PCs Facebook says they have been allocated more units which will go live at 2030 est tonight if anyone wants to try thier luck
Interesting that they've also imposed a: "Strict limit of 1 piece per customer"...
But TTMall is meant for Japan only -- technically it's not for us in Australia and were it not for mail forwarders like Tenso, we would not have access to it at all!
Shops like PC and TFSource service worldwide (and thus higher numbers), so i'm not going to hold it against them when they impose a limit.
True but Japan is the real limit though, is 2k regardless how many of who buys.
The Asian distribution is not known, and is anyone's guess. If you ask me, TT shot themselves in the foot by making it an exclusive when there is a demand for it. There isn't a limit on bbts so.... Not sure if it's that limited.
To me the limit means zero when they don't number it anyway.
Anyway what's next? Chinese instructions again making it not misb as well?
Yeah, that's the big question mark right there! If recall correctly, I think Ramjet might not have sold out on TTMall -- it was reopened for a few days after the stated period.
And given he is still available on RK, BBTS and Loopaza, it makes me wonder whether TT are being cautious this time around and not making as many Thrusts, hence being sold out at places like Captured Prey, Chosen Prime, Toy Dojo, PC and TFSource.
Going back to TTMall, I wonder how many of those 2000 units are destined for non-Japanese destinations?
Chinese instructions were required only for MP11SW Skywarp since it was released only in China thru Transformers Asia. depending on the source if they got it from China they may be double taped again because on the Chinese manual (though does not make sense since it is produced there )
