I found, and I find this bizarre, a lone Wave 2 Turtles of Greyskull Beast-man at TJ Maxx for 19.99.
A bargain, but given its not been released at mass retail, I don’t know why on earth they had it or if they are likely to get subsequent waves. It just seemed so random and bizarre. Note it was the multilingual packaging, so the comic has no text, but I really wanted another set of armour. I’ve put it on the Cartoon Collection Beast-man, and looks really awesome.
Big W Belmont yesterday had 2 each of Terroar, Lord Grasp, Merman, Stratos and Teela, and a Zodac.
Big W Riverton this morning has 2 each of Terroar, Lord Grasp, Stratos and Zodac, and 3x Merman.
I am astounded. I found CC Evil Lyn and CC Webstor at my local (Mildura) Big W this afternoon. They finally put some more stock out to go with the CC Teelas and FF Zodacs. And one of them was a Reptilax, which is still there, because I paid an annoying amount to have one posted from BBTS because it was a USian exclusive and so not going to reach our shores, let alone our actual shelves...
Big W Belmont - 1x CC Webstor, 2x Reptilax, 2x CC Evil-Lyn. I bought the remaining Orko and the other Webstor.
Robina Toyworld
Mixed waves of Motu, including Cc Webster (I took), Zodac, evil-Lyn and 2x Terroar. Check your local Toyworld, as Lord Grasp was in that wave

I spoke to Toymate Innaloo (Perth) today and they said they have a Grasp and Terroar on the shelf.
Big W Belmont has restocked Reptilaxes, Orkos, CC Webstors and CC Evil-Lyns.
Not a sighting, but I finally recieved my Necro-Conda the other day. A realy nice looking figure and my first ever Snake-man figure(off a snake). Cool glowy armour on the toy and the option for a snake tail is cool. It's been deisgned to be a troop builder by the looks of things and the packaging has a sample of three different styles. Oddly while the armour glows and the weapons look like they glow, the weapons don't glow.
It's cool
Mashtoys just got in wave 23, CC Catra, Leech, and Faker. A bit on the expensive side, but they now (as of the past few weeks at most) offer free postage for orders over $100, which has finally made them (somewhat) affordable to buy from. Although I do note a small increase in all their prices at the same time...
Big W Riverton. They unpacked 3 cartons this morning - 2x wave 22 (2 Hordaks, 1 Man E Faces and 1 Tri Klops) and 1x wave 23 (2 Faker, 1 Catra, 1 Leech). When I left there were several Hordaks, 2x Man E Faces, 2x Tri Klops, 1x Faker, 1x Catra and 1x Leech and a few Evil Lyns. Over the last 2 weeks I have seen wave 22 in another Big W being stocked and restocked.

Genuinely surprised to see this.
Big W Belmont has a CC ManEFaces and CC Triklops for those still looking.
Toyworld has CC Faker in stock on the website at $24.99.
For those interested in the sketchbook Hordak & Grizzlor (US Target exclusive, if I recall correctly, so hard to get locally), Mash Toys now has them in stock, at a surprisingly sane price.
Big W Belmont this morning had Wave 21 (CC She-Ra, CC Ram Man, CC Mantenna). Plus some TF Jada figurines cos this is a TF club, lol (Big W MOTU winning over Big W TF though).

I swear WA retailers get their stock from a different source to the rest of the continent. And not just in MOTU.
I saw the She-Ra at Big W recently and thought it looked really good, so good that I'm considering buying her and a He-Man.
This is a brand new figure right, designed to fit into the MOTU line (compared to the classic She-Ra toys)?
The other MOTU figures I've seen all look the same as the ones I recall from the 80s (other than some being in the "cartoon" colours) but are there any other "new" figures?
CC She-Ra is a new figure and looks just like the character from the She-Ra cartoon. She never appeared in the regular He-Man cartoon (there was the cross-over Xmas special.) So there was no toy of her among the original 80s MOTU figures. MOTU Origins wave 16 had the original She-Ra toy in the style of the retro MOTU Origins figures.
Faker is a perfect stand-in for He-Man with the changeable head to make him regular He-Man for those that missed CC He-man.
There's a new mould of a character not made in the 80s toys coming in wave 25 - Fang Man, who appeared in one episode (The Time Corridor). In the same wave there is also Uncle Montork (Orko with a changeable face) who was also never originally produced.
Also, the new figures have modern articulation - so shoulders (that move in more than just one axis), elbows, wrists, hips (that move more than originally), knees, ankles, and necks.
There are plenty of toys of characters that were never made in the 80s, but if you actually want them they'll be very, very expensive at this point (MOTU Origins has horrible distribution at the best of times, plus there's the regular Australia tax, plus everyone wants to be a scalper these days). I can post a list if you like.
Thanks for that info. I causally look at whatever MOTU toys Big W has and I’ve found the recolours quite interesting, like the recent TF Retros, but had assumed like the TFs they were just rereleases. Being modern figures with that classic look is a very clever idea.
Another question though, the Horde were MOTU toys but presumably came out after the cartoon had finished? And that’s how they became the bad guys in the She-Ra cartoon? I recall the She-Ra toys being only girls and only Catra(?) as a villain toy.
Pretty much, although there was ever-so-slightly more to the toys :)
In the last week, at a couple of Big Ws, I've seen CC Clawful, CC Spikor and Trapjaw.
Mash toys have Wave 24 as of this afternoon - CC Frosta, CC Buzz Off, and CC Invisible Skeletor.
