Oh yea, saw some space police and some city (bus stop, camper, red car) at target yesterday.
The new city has been at Toyworld for a while. My mum bought herself the bus stop, new creator house, tow truck, campervan and red car last week. They also have the flat bed truck and mechanics bay thing.
Also saw the new castle at toyworld too, the kings carriage and the other one with the queen/princess and skeletons.
All the stores seem to now be getting everything that was once exclusive.
The Space Police was advertised as exclusive to Big W, the City to K-mart, Pirates to Target and Castle to Toy World. Now they are popping up everywhere
Maybe it was just so they could get stuff for the big sales
Chaddy Toys R Us has the exclusive Space Pitstop, $55
And the Castle stuff has flooded into at least Myers and Toys R Us finally. My local Toyworld was practically desolate in terms of having these sets
thats the way it work these days, I've been told. 'Exclusive' means 'get it here first, before the general release date'. eg. Toyworld gets Castle first, Big W gets Space Police etc. a very clever marketing ploy.Quote:

Why not grab Agents 2.0 at Target instead while they have 20% off Lego? Target is the only store I've seen so far with the entire Agents range whereas the K-marts I've seen have only some items.
I think most stores got an exclusive line for their June/July sales and the rest had to wait for the regular listed release dates. Like how Big W got SP3 for their July sale before everyone else and only now the other majors are getting them in (SP3 was listed as having a September release). Pirates was exclusive at Target for their sale so I'd assume the rest of the majors will get theirs at the regular listed release (December). TRU does have the Shipwreck Hideout which is exclusive to them if you want to complete your Pirates sets.Quote:

It is just the SW and Toy Story sets, but Target also has them now.
They even had the build a Zerge(sp?) set that TRU didn't have. It is an exclusive according to thr catalogue
