Yep I spotted the EB's in the (Melbourne) city with the $59 sale sticker on it. Also JB Hifi at $59 too.

Picked it up today for Wii and DS. I had a quick play with it. I must admit, I am not too thrilled with it so far

It is strange it is called Cybertron Adventures on the Wii but still called War For Cybertron on the DS

My EB was selling it PS3 for $79 got them to price match with JB $75 and with trade in of all my PS2 stuff I got it for only $2

Actually JB online store has it for $59, ask the games department and they may sell it to you for that price plus the $3 postage fee.

JB Chadstone gave it to me for $59 + $3 for the shipping (they said that's the best they can do and I was like yeah gimme), oh well still saved a bit....really looking forward to playing it.

I'm a bit miffed that people have been getting it so much cheaper than EB's $79, but to be honest when I really think about it, I don't care :) the game is just too cool! Can't stop playing...

I have it on Wii, have to find time to play it though!

I know the Wii version is an on rails shooter, and no real relation to the PS3/360 version. Hoping it is half as interesting as the hi-res versions.

Picked up the game tonight from JB. Just so you all know, I paid $59 for it as well. The guy said that they were trying to beat EB on price.

I went back to EB with my receipt and price matched to BigW $61. Bargain! The 59.99 price I asked about drew blank stares so I just went with the BigW price.

Pretty good value overall seeing as I'm enjoying the game so much I wouldn't have minded paying the already "budget" rrp price.

Took a look at the link for play asia. A PC version won't be released until the 25th of June. So we may just get it later...

Hey guys thought I'd point out that Steam no has a page for WFC..HOWEVER there is buy button yet. So you may have to wait till the 25th, there is no price for it either and you'll have to download the game but for those of us that can't wait it is a faster option then buying it overseas....also there is no pre-order option so alas no pre-order bonus.

Big W I think is the cheapest for the Wii. I think. They got a sale next week that you can buy the DS versions with the special DS covers and Stylus as well. I'm putting them all on layby next week.

Awesome game, fantastic story and graphics. very similar to gears of war in look if anyone has played that. same engine i do believe(unreal). multiplayer is freakin sweet also. pew pew gotcha.!:D

The War for Cybertron Steam page is no longer available in our region!

As soon as the game was released on Steam, it's page became inaccessible to Australians.

Does this mean that the PC version game is somehow banned in Australia?

Fail! No pc version! even if we import there will be minimal local players now :(

Ultimately this guy on the steam forum in the U.S is helping Aussies and Europe gift it if you want! :)

Yeah I had a chat with him and he offered me help. I will see if I can import the game but apparently that is going to be difficult and expensive as the PC version is apparently only being released in the US and UK so prices are inflated and shipping cost is high.

Seriously WTF???

Finished the DS version. The main story is pretty short but overall its waay better than ROTF DS in terms of gameplay and extra features. the only disappointment is there's no Wi-Fi multiplayer.

Man I have been waiting patiently with a limp hope that the PC version will come out anytime soon but it seems pretty hopeless now. May as well order from Play-asia.com

So there is no area restriction right? Even the copy of the game from US would work perfectly fine in AU right?
