While the 13 Primes are Aligned Continuity, I wonder what they are actually going to label them as. It wouldn't be the first time we have seen Alinged characters labelled as G1 in recent years.

We now have pictures of Chop Shop and Barrage. Better and more involved re-tools than I expected.
Possible images of the Walmart Star Raiders (AKA Star Seekers) line – Lockdown, Cannonball, Filch and Ferak
All repaints/retools of existing figures as a new set of Space Pirates

So I see they really did go with a repainted Cyclonus for Ferak, despite the two unrelated Marvel comics characters to whom the name has been attached (and just how did the Decepticon killed by Rodimus Prime end up labelled so? Who decided that?) looking nothing like that. Definitely a time when I wish the designers would not pay any heed to TFWiki but actually make the effort to look at the source material.
We're getting Cannonball before Cybertron Red Alert lol.
Though with Armada Red Alert being rumoured, it would be interesting to have 2 toys based off Unicron Triolgy Red Alert.
Also I'm pretty doped that I can finally get a Lockdown figure.
In this case, the source material is actually Botcon 2014, not Marvel G1. The theme that year was Pirates vs Knights (yeah, I know, it made no sense).
That said, I really do not see why Hasbro is integrating Botcon characters and concepts into official Hasbro products. The best years of Botcon were when they made G1 characters Hasbro never got around to, like the Seekers from MTMTE Part 1 (which they incorrectly named the Rain Makers).
It does seem like they are trying to erase memories of BotCon by redoing so many of those concepts. Maybe they saw BotCon aftermarket prices and thought we should be getting that cash, lets put out our own Antagony, SG Starscream, Ferak etc
These pirates are now officially revealed via Walmart, with pics of alt mode and packaging https://news.tfw2005.com/2024/03/07/...-images-505361
And lo, we have pictures of SS86 Swoop.
In a move that will shock nobody given he's a remould of suspiciously Sideburn looking character, RID Sideburn has been leaked.

New gimmick incoming!, Swapticons.

Why do I have the feeling Hasbro are in that same mindset they were in after G1 finished airing and every sub-group needed a more and more stupid gimmick?
We have some alleged Takara solicitation material that has leaked. If real, then the next two ML toys will be Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. Apparently we'll see on the 8th of May.
Those two were waaaaaaay down the list of likely candidates, due to the intricate engineering required to give them articulation.
Images have already been leaked, although there is a 8/5 embargo date on reproducing/distributing them. Here's a deliberately modified version (or you can go and Google the original leaked images yourself).

But even through the "censorship," you can still see the articulated arms and legs, as well as fist holes that allow them to hold pistols. They also have wrist swivels, although the front wheels are attached to the base of the fists, so turning the fists also rotates the wheels. e.g. if the fists are upright, then the wheels are turned 90 degrees from the shoulder wheels etc.
If you remember when they leaked the Star Raiders subline, they mentioned there would be a leader class Thundertron. Seeing as it was most likely gonna be a redeco of the Voyager legacy toy, people wondered what would be included. Well, pics show him (slightyl redecoed and retooled) with a redeco of Ratbat and Magneous
I think the repaint looks better and this might be easier to get that the original release.
Not toy news, but rumours are the Activision made Transformers games might be getting relisted. Atm only the steam relistings are showing any signs of a chance they are coming back (the Xbox store is a bit misleading since the pages never left the store)
I just checked the Steam back end. It looks like a case of move along, nothing it see here. All games had their beta branch updated 13 months ago. Since then the only changes are things Microsoft have zero control over like Steam making a database change that affected hundreds of games.

Picture of the mayhem Bludgeon and Ruckus pack floating around now
Ruckus has his waist details on his forearms like the reference image on Tfwiki LMAO
Also a supposed picture of SS86 Prime playing a piano.
Wow, another mini-Masterpiece figure there. Shut up and take my money.

Instead of a trailer he comes with a piano!
An update on the gaming news rumour from earlier, Apparently 2 ratings on the classification board have popped up. Both are rated PG. Seeing as there are rumours of 2 games coming out later this year, we might be seeing WFC/FOC making a return.
There seem to be a bunch of previously unkown figures for 2025. Including what's presumably a Legacy Menasor style take on Superion, and a Titan Class Star Convoy. The thing I'm wondering, is why Titan Class for Star Convoy? If he was a Commander Class sized Star Convoy with Sky Gary and Micromaster Hot Rod then I could see a Titan Class price point making sence. But I don't really want a Metroplex sized Optimus Prime figure. Also, G2 Dinobots, but I'm guessing they are Core Class because 5 leaders in a set would be expensive.

Star Convoy is a really fun toy design, and I just loved the new appearance over traditional prime designs. Coming with a micro master Hot Rod is very cool too. So a new version in that size is appealing. Can’t wait to see pics.
But it does seem a strange choice for Titan size, just because it has little appeal to most collectors who ever had one or know the character.
I think the size class makes sense from design, given the huge size of the trailer base, and that it should come with a small Hot Rod as well (core class perhaps? To justify the extra price).
I just don’t think it would sell as well. But I could be wrong. Cybertron Metroplex was a deep cut too.
I fully expect titan Star Convoy to be about the price point, not the size of the toy. Well, it'll be big, but it won't be as big as recent titans, and it will be far more complex in terms of parts and transformation.
Rumoured prototype Missing Link Sunstreaker

Sunstreaker is not a rumour. It has been proudly shown off by Takara, at two different events over the past month. And so has Arcee.
Pics and orders are up for Sunstreaker and Diavclone Cordon
