I need to vent!

Also venting about the price of dvds, I was looking to buy Thor recently just to refresh myself while awaiting the new one coming out soon. $34 it was, so I left it. I also noticed Ironman 3 was quite expensive also. This quite annoys me. I guess if you really want something its better to buy it when its first out at an introductory price of say $19. I notice after a few weeks some go up in price to around $34 or more. It must be some kind of marketing strategy. I hate it of course. Instead of buying Thor I picked up 3 other movies for less than $30.

At least with DVDs you can get away with ordering from Overseas. You can't really do that with Blu-rays unless you know it's region free which is always a risk.

Thank every deity for sites like regionfreemovies.com , which is pretty comprehensive with foreign releases.

Sometimes you still end up taking a gamble, but if you know the company's usual stance on it, and you're willing to take the gamble because 80% of blu-rays are region-free, then luck is generally on your side.

but pretty much every fifteen minutes the chick behind would make a noise, culminateing in the one mentioned above.

I was almost invested in the characters at that point and she just shattered the moment.

I still remember going to see it in the cinema, and my friend's hot cousin was SO into the movie that during the bit when they're searching for survivors, and yelling out 'is there anyone out there' etc, she raised her hand.

It was so damn funny.

I think Kraft Singles (individually wrapped cheese) have gotten thinner. The 24pack is still a 24 pack as it has always been but the slices are a lot thinner now.:mad:

Yeah, I've kinda noticed that too, we buy them every week but it doesn't really bother me.:D

I think the last time I ever saw Kraft Cheese slices in my fridge was when I was 7 (Now 28) so I have no idea if what you're noticing is true or not, but I in all honesty wouldn't be surprised if it were. :p
