I've headed down to Hobart for a week for a job interview.
Launceston Target had one SS Blurr, and maybe (IIRC) 1x Hot Rod.
Hobart Target is basically Don't Bother. But Toyworld is gangbusters. No Leader Megatrons, only a Paleaotrex and a Warpath Deluxe-wise, but by far the place to go in the City. 2x Scorponoks at $300 each if anyone's still looking.
All of the retro headmasters Wave 1 were at Target Mowbray and Target Launceston today.
Interestingly, I was keen on picking up a Chromedome to replace my TR Chromedown, because he has poorly mismatched paint on his car roof panels...
...but this version had the same crappy paint matching, despite being a different deco! Red is a pig of a colour to get right on clear plastic, but still....
Non-sighting in Devonport - a few Paleotrex, Blackarachnias, and 2 Warpaths in KMart; pretty much no new stuff in ToyWorld.
1st April - still nothing new at KMart Devonport; didn't check Toyworld. 1x Dlx Warpath, plenty of Paleotrex and Blackarachnias, a few Cyberverse figures, and plenty of $6 Battlemasters (all humanoid Decepticon gun-types).
Kingdom Wave 2 Voyagers and Leaders at Toyworld Devonport.
About 7 Rodimus left at Big W Glenorchy
Quite a few 'T-Wrecks' at Toyworld Launceston.
For $99, it........doesn't look good.
Nothing in Burnie Target.
Burnie KMart was OK, 1x Netflix Deseesus/black Ironhide guy, 1x SS Hot Rod, a few Wave 2 Kingdom figures including 2x mini-Soundwaves, a smattering of SS Bayverse toys (2x Dinos, ~3x cybertron-mode Starscreams).
2X Galvatron in Launceston Toyworld ($99) - both with correct shoulders.
And an eternity later - Toyworld Launceston FINALLY got in SS84 Grimlock, for $99.
They used to be really good at getting in stock nice and quick once upon a time, but lately it's like they're last on a very long list.
