I will be passing on the Volcano stuff mainly due to costs and space:(
I may get the Volcano Helicopter sets if I can get them at a very good price. It's also a theme that's very similar to the Arctic stuff released a year or so ago.

Tell me about it!:D:o I bought the 60's Batcave on the weekend and I'm trying to figure out the best way to display it as its not a pretty set tbh. Only wanted it for the figs and Batmobile. I even watched the 1966 movie on Netflix yesterday to get some ideas, lol.
Got some more Lego road pieces today almost done with them, just need one more curved corner then I can get to work on building my mini city. Although still seriously lacking space to set it all up. :(
Just got the new Marvel Sets at Big W Warringah :)
Received 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer from an eBay seller in VIC :)
I've finally completed my next build - my Wild West MOC! :) Being a massive fan of Clint Eastwood's westerns, his movies really inspired me to create my own outlaw shootout. I wanted it to be centred around my saloon, along with a variety of rockery, Indians hiding out of sight & a whole bunch of other fitting bits & pieces (I just had to have a crazy Mexican attacking someone with a machete... Lol)
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out - Just wait 'til you see what I'm working on next...

nice :) i bought the little volcano explorers 'starter' set the other day, kinda cute hehe
I bought so much of the current and passed year of Star Wars Lego. Tempted to just sell it all off now though. Any thoughts of the best place to do it as just a single giant sale?
There are FB Lego groups circling you like vultures as we speak! :D
SW Lego should have quite a good resale as a bulk lot though. The FB groups could be a good one but perhaps an auction on eBay can get the best value. Seen quite a number of these SW auctions fetch a good price.
Only issue is everything is opened and built. I have all the boxes, never used any stickers. They're all on the sheets still. I have about $4,000 I've purchased this year? I'm happy to lose some on it, due to being second hand. But I would love to be able to just offload it all :D
Picked up a Frodo keyring for my gf and a Bossk keyring for myself from the Lego Educational Centre at Docklands - she decided on a whim that we should visit Melbourne again last weekend.
Didn't think I would get this much fun out of Bossk, but every time I look at his ugly lizard face it makes me laugh a bit inside.
Emporium was not finished the last time we were there, so I was very impressed with the size of Myer's toy section.
i think i got it from k-mart but i don't remember the price! i've since grabbed the tracked drill rig vehicle and today got the explorer 4wd or something. helicopter will be next i think hehe
hmm you don't happen to have a list do you....? i might be tempted in some
Received 75050 B-Wing yesterday :) I usually don't mind leaving in spring loaded missiles, but they go off too easily on this build.
Has anyone picked up Series 16 Minifigures?
The Lego baby looks great!
I'm after the Penguin kid and the Wildlife Photographer for my gf. Picked out the Spooky Boy by mistake, but he looks great with the Spooky Girl.
Also from eBay, picked up Lego TR-8R and the accompanying First Order Stormtrooper from the Takodana set. They really need to release a battle pack with more plain First Order Stormtroopers!
Penguin kid was one of the more difficult to feel the bags for. My method was to feel for the headpiece first then confirm by feeling for the short legs. There are only 2 minifigures in the series with short legs. The other is the kid devil and you can rule that out quickly because it's a bulky bag with wings, tail, headpiece, pumpkin and trident.
Anyone got spares for the disney series. :) I'm after Alice and Cheshire cat and Genie.
Re Penguin suit kid. Also try to feel for the skates to confirm. Luckily, found mine in a fresh box along with a banana suit guy (easiest to pick).
A friend sourced these bad boys for me today

Thoughts when you make them please as I am very much on the fence when it comes to getting. More ships as I am quickly running out of space.
Looks like they learnt their lesson from force awakens and have the ships more closely resembling the ones in the trailers, Kenneth's command ship is a big improvement over Kylie rens.
I had a lot of fun building both of these up as both ended up being very sturdy. Can't comment on how universe-realistic they are to the movie, as I'm trying hard to avoid the media releases and not to spoil myself - however I accidentally clicked on a character from Krennic's Shuttle set and skim read too quickly into it (why the hell didn't this work for me during uni? :p).
75154 Tie Striker
I really enjoyed the build process, and did not expect the cockpit capsule to come together with the wings as sturdy as the photos suggests (mainly because I watched this misleading MOC the week before). The only other Tie I own is the 75101 First Order Tie Fighter (however I've watched video reviews of most of the older iterations) and the Striker beats them all. The wings are connected via Technic pins and beams, and can be adjusted from the back to be raised into their attack mode as pictured on the box. There are no balance issues with either modes.
If there are any parts that might come off, I can only think of a) a single plate on the back of the capsule where one plate is connected by a single pin; and b) the spring-loaded missile launches which aren't as well integrated as 75101.
The wingspan is incredibly impressive - the box art really does not do it enough justice. This thing is almost as long as 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer. I've been a growing fan of this type of wing placement since getting back into Lego this year and going through reviews of many fighter designs since 2009. The 9500 Sith Fury-class Interceptor was big on my want list until getting the Striker (esp when considering 9500 has stability issues).
I'm always looking forward to more Imperial troops, and printing on all 4 minifigs are very high quality. One QC packing issue with my set - I didn't get a the generic smiling 2-sided head for the Rebel soldier, and instead got another angry-Clone face.

Apologies for getting back to you late, I've had an extra long weekend out of town.
I'll write up a quick summary for Krennic's Shuttle later on.
Thank you for the write up and thoughts, it does look more impressive made than in the stock photos or box art.
awesome post SuspectimusPrime, I just grabbed a few Rogue One sets myself and those shots you took look absolutely amazing put together. :)
I found on Gumtree the 75154, 5 and 6, all for $190 for the lot, which is fantastic news, as they'll become part of my collection.
I am on the hunt for the 75153 and other than the 75120 I'm not too fussed on the rest.
I read yesterday in the sighting section that the Y-Wings were available in Big W, so I decided today to head down and have a quick look in my local store. And indeed they were, I think they are being sold for $95 but to my surprise, I saw a LEGO 75049 Star Wars Snowspeeder still for sale and in relatively good condition, apart from the odd bit of shelfware. I got to the checkout and scanned the item and it cost me a whole $10, which considering the item has been retired for a while now, I thought that was an absolute bargain. :)
A 75049 Snowspeeder for $10? Well done! :)
Got the micro fighters today from big w but didn't even try to scan the a wing or battle on Scariff sets. No middle range sets though.
I caved last week and picked up the Resistance X-wing and the Imperial Assault Tank :)
Watched Rogue One yesterday, and I'm very looking forward to see some of those unknown model numbers get revealed :p
Some of these have been in the boot of the car for up to 6 months, finally cleared them out. Warning, not all Lego :)

Got my entire Lego dimensions order from online Lego store sale consisting of A-team, mission impossible, Harry Potter, fantastic beasts, sonic, gremlins and ghost busters. All in time for Xmas and the kids are wrapped as we finally have time to play them
i got the new y-wing and the u-wing but like my tie striker and various other sets i think they will be sitting in their boxes for a while until i have some place to display them :/
My Japan haul!
Very surprised with these, as I was a bit naive and assumed that Lego in Japan would be costlier than here. Whilst most general retail releases were very similar in price (minor discounts that did not make up for the cost of luggage space), I was very happy to find these retired/hard-to-find sets in Akihabara, and various Yodabashi Cameras & Bic Cameras in Tokyo.
I was also able to visit the Tokyo Station ClickBrick store and KiddyLand in Harajuku. The stores were very well stocked with the latest stuff and the 2017 sets, but nothing rare. Tokyo ClickBrick did have pretty cheap keychains for about $9ea.
I decided to hold off on the 2017 sets, as price-wise they would have only been similar to BigW with their 20% discount.

Got back just before the new year, and we've already built them all - bought the Creator Dog/Duck set for my girlfriend to appease her wrath, and gave her the Year of the Rooster freebie from Yodobashi. She's got a weakness for ducks, so we turned 31044 into this MOC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASNBAvxfKmQ :p
I'll probably motorise Wall-E at some stage this year when I get around to it. Also get him some of these so he can travel move easily on tiles: http://www.bricklink.com/myImg/153154.jpg
Went to the Brickman "wonders of the world" at the Sydney exhibition centre. Was fantastic and worth every one of the $35 entry cost.
Bought a program since the pictures were better than any I took (didn't even think to bring the macro lens) as well as the Venice architecture set I've been eyeing off and an awesome duplo story set I've never seen before where you build models of the characters as you read!
