Thanks for the tip about him, he has listed a few things in the past I have almost bought. I was even eyeing off that Sunstorm, do you guys know if he does the repaints himself ?

Personally, my theory is that they are NOT repaints, but rather KOs with dodgy paint and this is how he covers himself should something escalate to a dispute. He has done this numerous times in the past with BT KOs.
I had the same thought as Jaydisc. I'm pretty sure that it is a KO/counterfeit Sunstorm, not a custom job. I do recall seeing listings for Sunstorm reproductions, and this is most likely that, especially since that dealer is known for KOs and not for customs.
Just had a look at their other items, and notice that they are selling a lot of repro inserts (the plastic bubble that held the toy). Not sure if there is a market for them, or if they are just trying to get rid of the stuff (inserts, boxes) left over from selling off the KOs in a loose condition.
The Tracks listed in repro insert is something I'd be worried about, even if they claim the toy is legit. Once they are known to sell illegal repro toys, and try to pass them off as legit ones, you can never trust them ever again.
Definitely an ebay seller to avoid.
And it really bugs me the way they keep saying 'last stock' on EVERY auction. That is so redundant of most listings that are one-off items, and dishonest on every other item that isn't the last stock.
It's a little hard to tell but the paintjob seems to look incredibly crappy.
Yea, the real sunstorm isn't mustard, it's orange.
I can't believe someone is actually bidding on that thing? (It's up to an incredible $22.50! WTF?)
anyone wanna start/complete their G1 collection with some MISB/MIB G1s from this seller? *hehe*
drooling yet disgusted by the price markup
