I saw these today and unfortunately they have stuck "security tape" (the one with the cloth strips and really sticky glue) on the tops and bottoms of the boxes is this common with other big w's? it kind of ruins the box as its not easy to take off and defeats the purpose of it being a collectables . I asked the staff if they had any untapped ones (and they didn't) and some of them were "disappointed" that the tape was stuck on and didn't think it was needed.

Security Tape!?! :eek: - That sucks a little bit, I've still yet to check Dapto yet but hopefully they're not suffering the same affliction. :(

I know the one. Bugger that. I dont want sticky tape on my Omega.
I dont mind the black security cables they use, at least there's no residue with that, might get a few dents here and there, but it's a million times better than that crud.

No, not all stores. A few members here have found Omega without the tape.
It's up to store discretion if they choose to apply it or not on certain items.

I wouldn't know. Checked Eastgardens yesterday and Macquarie Centre and Warringah Mall today and still NOTHING. Pretty keen to pick up an Omega - sticky tape or not. He's coming straight out of the box to tower over and intimidate some Decepticons in my display.
