A: Well, the winning bidder was a sham eBay account who edged out the previous high-bidder by $100 at $50,100. It was pretty much immediately apparent what had happened but eBay policy requires that you wait a certain number of days to discount the bidder before moving on to the runner-up. Once the runner-up was contacted, he enthusiastically accepted, then declined, then accepted but wanted a lower winning amount, then declined again, citing family/work issues. It was disappointing, but what can you do, right? After that, I just resolved to list it again, but to be vigilant about fishy bidders and end on a Sunday instead of a Monday, this time around. PJ
Honestly, Does he really expect someone to pay that much?
