Had to go out and buy new shoes last night because my shoes had basically fallen apart at work yesterday, went to Kmart and picked up 2 and a Half Men Season 6. On the box it said $32, but when I scanned it up at the self checkout, scanned at $15!!! Was even cheaper than the other seasons I bought.

Beast King Golion -- Complete Chronology DVD
After months of deliberation about which latest gen console to get, and then after purchasing six games for a system I didn't yet have, I now am the owner of a Playstation 3 thanks to Myer.
So if you don't hear from me it's because I'm off playing War For Cybertron, ROTF, Uncharted 1 & 2, Tomb Raider Underworld, Metal Gear Solid 4, or SFIV. I've got weeks of gameplay ahead of me :)
$569 for the 250 GB model with PlayTV. After a long day shopping around it seemed the best deal I could find.
I purchased Batman: The Animated Series Vol 1 from JB Hi-Fi today. The first 28 episodes of the 90s series on 4 discs for only $9.95 :D.
^ good one! Sadly we never got the other sets, but luckily they are region free so import a-go-go!
Picked up Queensryche's Operation: Mindcrime and Dethklok's Dethalbum II Spec Ed on Friday. Both really cool albums.
Got Starcraft 2. Installation and downloading patches was a pain but once running looks good.
Polypropylene sleeves for my animation cels.
Got several blu-ray discs from Amazon this arvo:
RoboCop
Under Siege 2
Tango & Cash
Army Of Darkness -- Screwhead Edition
Will be watching Army Of Darkness this evening. Haven't seen the film in a long time!
I believe its the regular with the alternative as a bonus feature. I'd like to see both versions released on the same disk, there are more differences than just the ending.
Really? I thought it was just the ending. What other differences are there?
Edit:
Just found there are 4 different versions :confused::confused:
Quote:
There are four different versions of Army of Darkness: the 96-minute director's cut, the 81-minute U.S. theatrical version, the 88-minute international edit, and the 88-minute U.S. television version.
That's the version of the DVD my dad has, the American release of the DVD had that as a bonus feature. I like both endings, but I think I prefer the one where he sleeps too long, then has the insane evil laugh afterwards.
I've seen 3 cuts of the film.
The DVD/HD-DVD/ Blu-ray cut.
The book of the Dead Edition on VHS with the alt end.
The standard local release VHS had some different lines.
The biggest changes I remember (other than the doomsday ending) were:
the line "good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun" changed to "I ain't that good"
Extra nudity when evil Ash tongues the chick.
When ash gets the long face after being sucking into the fake book it takes longer to shake it off.
Yes I actually remember all this crap. Probably some other changes too, can't remember all the specifics.
Fallout 3 game of the year edition. :D:D:D
A very nice haul indeed SGB,
Robocop - Awesome!
Under Siege 2 - I just can't enjoy Segal anymore...
Tango & Cash - Awesome Classic!
Army of Darkness - Oh how I love Evil Dead! :D
Man I wish I had a PS3, I'm missing out on so much High Definition viewing and interaction!, lol. :p:D
Blasphemer  Steven Seagal will hunt you down :p
I am a huge Seagal fan (got an autographed photo hanging in my Transformers room with his Nico action figure on display) but I can understand this sentiment. His first 10 films - mostly through WB, were awesome. The stuff he churns out now as direct-to-DVD are mostly B-grade at best. You never see him fighting from the waist down anymore cause full body shots are done with a stunt double, and his voice is either completely dubbed or dubbed in sections. Having said that though, if you think his last 15 movies sucked, have a listen to his CD :D
Machete is looking good though (but he will probably die early on, just like Executive Decision :p)
Two He-Man and She-Ra animation cels from Sky Shadow.
Also got a bunch of animation cels from He-Man, She-Ra, Ghostbusters and TMNT (the 1980 version) from another source. Was surprised to receive them today as I thought they had gotten lost in the mail!
TMNT? EPIC!
just bought a new pair of nike dunks, and tickets to the Gorillaz.
I used to be a huge Seagal fan. I still watch his old movies (even though he is a little bit big I do enjoy his work with Keenan Ivory Wayans in The Glimmer man) Above the Law, Out for Justice, Hard to Kill (even though his character has the same name as a porn star) and Under Siege are all classics. I even like On Deadly Ground, Fire Down Below and Under Siege 2 but the new stuff that the "Jowls of Death" releases is just a grade baloney and I can't enjoy it:(
How good is the Glimmer Man! That is hands down my favourite Seagal movie. I'm surprised that so many people I talk to have never seen it. When they ask 'what is it like?' I tell them the best way to describe the movie is a cross between Out For Justice and Se7en. I tell you what though, it was the first time I'd seen him smile in one of his movies and that just freaked me out. Not as bad as watching him run though :p
Got a couple more He-Man & She-Ra animation cels this arvo.
My cel collection is growing nicely.
