Channel 7 did well for the first two seasons by screening most episodes within a week or two of America, so the episodes related to Marvel Movies were close enough to the Movie release to be watched while the Movie was in theatres. Yet another show that Foxtel have poached that will force thousands of people to downloading it from pirate sites.

If Foxtel ever poach Dr Who for their BBC channel, I will be severely peeved.

I heard this a couple weeks ago through Twitter. I will be watching Season 3 of Agents of shield somehow but not on Foxtel. I refuse to pay for tv that is supposed to be add free but isn't.

I had Foxtel when I was still living w/ my parents as a youngin', and I remember the endless hours of channel surfing through 50 channels... only to find nothing interesting to watch. :rolleyes: Sometimes I see Pay TV ads and think, "Oooh, that sounds cool," but then I remember what it was actually like having it. :p

Talking about Big Bang Theory, what was pissing me off was when they were showing the same episodes twice in the same week. How stupid is that? This, along with most of the other garbage they put on, has stopped me from watching free to air tv. I watch my dvds and tv series and random stuff I have downloaded instead. Free to air tv just sucks for the most part.

You think that's bad... the final 2 episodes of 2 and a half men were advertised as premiering on ch 9 on Tuesday and then commercials were advertising the same 2 episodes as premiering on ch99.... part of the same network!

This. FOXTEL isn't better TV... it's just more TV.

There's a bit of that. I went a couple of years without TV during my 20's, after a couple of months, I didn't even miss it. Now, I quite like the Netflix model, I can watch when I want rather than when they choose to schedule it. If I don't have time or there's other things I want to do, I don't have to miss out.
