In the original Q+A that I did with Simon (check out here, he mentioned going back to Marvel US G1, and that he'd prefer at first to leave G2 alone. He's mentioned it a couple of times in interviews since, saying that as the proposed series progressed (here's hoping) he could tie in threads, seeds or references to G2.Quote:

The jury is still out for me in terms of how they handle the G2 storyline. Even if they leave it alone, they can't exactly pretend it never happened either.
