I have been into Targets and Big W's and KMarts in th past, the evening before a sale and picked up items at the sale price. If you're really keen and there's a store close by it might be worth trying. though they may have streamlined their system to start at midnight specifically.

Unfortunately you'd have to click on every store on their store locator page to see which one is open at midnight (doesn't look like any in Brisbane will be). If only a few stores were going to be open for this, they should at least list them on their toysale page.

so it's 4 pm in perth...has anyone checked target whether or not the prices are on sale yet?! I may make a mad rush to joondalup if so.

I checked at 6:30pm today and was still normal prices. :(

All prices were full price at 6pm, no matter what the item (toys, electronics etc).

Stocked to the brim, I guess they have learnt from previous years!

Wow their marketing worked for...electronics! Currently in a queue at lakeside joondalup that puts post office queues to shame!

well to be fair it is school holidays in WA still. poor Big W missed out on that for a week or 2 lol
