Actually Peaugh said in the video he was given a test set to review and he hadn't received his order yet.
The Unique Toys War Lord and MMC Feral Rex figures were also all test shots that were given to him.
I find him the most measured out of all the other online reviewers. He doesn't have an ego and, by contrast, shows less favouratism. He does tend to manhandle most figures in ways I wouldn't dare; which works - because if it passes the 'Peaugh stress-test', then I'd have no qualms about a figure's durability :)
I feel much the same; along with Vange1us, TJOmega, TJ Duckett our own Kal_El, Tetsuwan Convoy & Ironprime Reviews - I like knowledgeable, honesty, transparency, creativity and integrity in my Toy video reviewers, I do not care for "yes men" or "egotists" in anything.
I decide to get these guys and I really like them!! they fun figure to play with and act out ....:D
The transformation very basic and simple but that adds to the fun factor , They are very light but solid plastic used and the blue parts are soft and felxiable ... the detail are really good and love how they have different faces as well as the one guy had a different shade purple ...
On to the negative stuff .... the Qc that one of the figure I got , got a scratch on the middle of the chrome eye :( , the waist ball joint is alittle loose on all of them but the rest of the joints are tight , like the ankle one so it can pose the figure up ... This one a big one to me is that the hands of the shark alt mode just swing back hanging out in robot mode (the mid figure of the pic you can see it ) they could of made it swing down and fold away in the back instead of folding out like that .... Also the top horns keep dropping out during transformation , it actually cover the screw hole there on the top of the head , but keep dropping off which is so annoying and could easily be lost (left figure)...
The gun doesn't fit any where on the alt mode in which they could of made it fit on the side as it does have hole there already! Just where the shark hands are or the leg as well!!!! but not big enough for the handle to fit in .... should be easy to make to adjustment in the finally design stage ....And one last thing is that you can see the face of the robot when the shark open it mouth , behind there(right figure)turn head around which got gun detail :) ....
It come with a bio-card that made of plastic and high quality which I love ! I just hate those cheap nasty printing paper card that some of the 3p figure come with , (if you include it make it a least a proper card!) ...
these are a great figure and the price is spot on .... totally recommend..

In shark mode turn the bot head around so you dont see it. Has little gun thingys sculped into it too.
The box art looks real nice. It's such a large, space consuming box and I want to throw it into the recycling bin but it's so pretty.
Only problem I've encountered is the feelers/antennae on the sharkmode head. They keep falling out. I may need to superglue them in place.
I've been meaning to pick up these figures for a while. Besides a WST Grimlock the only other 3rd party figures I have are the Quintesson Judge and Prosecutor so thought these guys could go perfect with them and maybe G1 Gnaw as their leader. :)
Do people think it's worth the price though? I've read a few reviews from people who have problems like loose parts and scratched shark eyes. The only ones they have from BBTS list the box at only C6-8 condition but I could combine them with my POL. Has anyone ordered them through other sources and if so what was the price with postage? I see Chimungmung are $72.90 at the moment.
I bought mine through TFsource dude, I can't exactly remember but I think they cost me just under $100AU after postage? :o - My thoughts on them were outlined here but I'd say they're worth that amount, little loose bits aside. ;)
As I mentioned, just glue the loose bits. As it's setting make sure it's got good air flow around it, an open window, desk fan, whatever. Superglue fumes have a tenancy to frost nearby surfaces (hence that fingerprint trick you see on TV).
