Apparently Megan Fox will be April O'Neil

Yeah I just read about it. This is hilarious and check this:
http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118066448/Quote:
Variety is now reporting that Fox will star as the classic Turtles character April O'Neil. "Prior to the holidays, the studio began meeting with actresses such as Jane Levy, Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Olsen," says the trade paper, "and the studio will now aim to find its male lead."
Looks like the Turtles won't even be the leads in their own movie. This is worse than in Transformers as Turtle movies have already been proven to be successful with them in the lead. No 'viewer needs to relate to human characters' excuses for this now - It is clearly just Bay implementing his cookie cutter.
I just dont understand hey... :(
I'm surprised that she wasn't cast as Splinter... she's got the facial hair for it ;)
For some reason I find this casting hilarious, usually I'd roll my eyes but this for some reason is just LOLcity
First words out of my mouth when reading this was "Oh no!"
F*ck you Bay! Its bad enough your going to ruin them. Now you need to bring the ugly Fox into the fold?
Groan!
Sadly, this new TMNT film is going to go exactly the way the Transformers Films did under Michael Bay's involvement; Director or Producer? it doesn't matter. :(
What we're going to get is a film about Casey Jones & April O'Neil's burgeoning & blossoming love for one another with a recurring cameo by the Teenage ALIEN(!?!) Ninja Turtles - Sadly it'll probably makes hundreds of millions of dollars at the Box Office & be considered successful & yet 2 of the longest lasting Boys Toys franchises will still be without proper movie adaptations.
(Of course, we will always have the 80s Turtle Movies though ;))
Megan Fox's involvement? - I don't think this will do her or anyone else any favours.:p
(Someone/something to look at though :D)
You mean like her toe thumb?
Cause thats the most attractive thing I've ever seen! Lmao.
Someone on another forum said Mary Elizabeth Winstead should be April and i totally agree.
You know who should play April O'Neil?
APRIL O'NEIL
I didn't think Meagan Fox was unattractive but I suppose you are less fussy as you get older:rolleyes::D
Even when I was excited about TF1, I thought she was rather trashy looking.

Karate originally meant "China Hand" (唐手), or literally "Tang" Hand (in reference to China's Tang Dynasty). It was later changed to mean "empty" hand (空手), but empty just means without specifically crafted weapons like swords, spears, bow and arrow etc. The weapons that are used by Karate and Ninjutsu are arms used by peasantry because they're just regular tools.
e.g.
nunchaku - a type of flail used in farming
sai - a compact pitchfork
bo - staff used to transport loads (e.g. buckets, baskets etc.)
tonfa - handle for a mill
kusari-gama - sickle attached to chain
etc.
Katana were only used by ninjas though, not karate. Karate was basically a martial art practised by Okinawans for civil defence, whereas Ninjutsu was practised by Japanese peasantry who took arms in guerrilla warfare against Samurai, so they would used crafted weapons like Katana, shuriken (ninja stars), tetsuboshi (caltrops), bow and arrows etc. They would also used smoke bombs and improvised explosive devices. Basically the Ninja were the feudal Japanese equivalent of the Viet Cong or Taliban in modern times. The word "Ninjutsu" (忍術) itself literally means "The art of stealth." The ninja often saw themselves as kinds of freedom fighters etc., whereas the Samurai saw them as cowards. In a few rare instances there were alliances made between Samurai and Ninja clans, e.g. Hattori Hanzo (hence the reference in Kill Bill ;))
Is that Will Arnett in the photos?
So much for having suits with CG faces ala Where the Wild Things Are.
^What am I watching?
Have a guess ;) We've had a bit of a leak of what Bay's alien turtles will be like.

It's a Halloween costume but it's legit so it gives you an idea of what Bay is aiming for.
Dude bro Mikey with sunglasses, ripped 'kick-ass' sports leggings and tattoos lol
Actually the 'shorts' kind of look like a ripped version of an 'Enterprise' uniform. Maybe they scavenged up the discarded wardrobe after the series ended.
aside from that the rest of that .gif is from the currently running nickelodian Turtles series. excellent in my opinion.
I think I just brought up a little of my lunch.
At least Bay managed to capture an 80s look, as the necklace, sunnies and tatts makes it look like a cross between a bent cop and a street thug from a bad 80s cop drama.
But I think he "forgot" that these are "Teenagers" (about 15 in the original series), so it could encourage kids to get tattoos before they are old enough to understand the consequences of them (being permanent but getting them as part of a short-lived fad, and could make it harder to get a job later at a place that requires a specific public image).
I have been reading the TMNT fanboards and they are going through the same emotional cycles as TF fans did with Bayformers. There is denial and anger and some who are uninitiated on what Bay is all about are even putting hope in that the plot may redeem it all.
Poor zaps.
Hopefully this is some kind of joke
Then again I think I made a similar statement when images from the 1st TF film were leaked
keep in mind that this is a flat print of a haloween costume, there was a transformers one leaded this week as well and it looks just as bad and not much like other TF4 movie designs we've seen.
I see your point, but to be fair, Optimus Prime wasn't wearing pants on the Halloween costume, and didn't wear pants in the movie.
I don't mind the tattoos, and I quite like the design (that we can see from this costume anyway!) of the turtles.
But seriously, pants?
