Doesn't matter if they state that it's a KO or not, that seller shouldn't be selling KOs.
There have been carded reissues, but only on the gold 1990/91 style G1 cards. There have never been G1 reissues on early G1 "grid" style cards. e.g. This is a legit carded reissue of G1 First Aid.
Before anyone asks Gok why he doesn't report it is because he isn't on e-bay.
Gok, I seriously think reporting doesn't do a thing, I went through a phase of reporting all KO's and even using references to web sites to prove they are fakes, the listings weren't taken down and the sellers kept selling. I think a while back a few of us on here mass reported an item with no luck.
Seller says no KO. But those superion parts are bone white. Thought the g1's were a bit beige. Remembering the last parra fair where the seller mixed the superion parts in two sets of aerialbots and told me that the bone white parts are re-issues.

There has been reissues using the G1 card & box designs in China between 1989-1995 including the Constructicons.
The best way I have found for ebay to take listings down is to first report it then several hours later either get on the phone or use the 'live support' thing and ask someone why it hasn't been removed. They give some speil about it goes through some process to be assessed but if you have a strong case why it should be removed - lead paint risk to my children they can bypass it and remove the listing. Its pretty tedious going but you get there.
they do look very fresh but he may have given them a good dose of the peroxide treatment.
Those are G2 colours, but I can't see the generation 2 there, honeslt'y wish it was a bigger picture. But that's what I can gather
Wayyy to much work for me to save someone form buying a KO, even though most of the listings do state that now. I recently spotted a KO Prime going for some high dollars and the seller claimed it was real, I sent the seller a message poilitely if he was aware it was a fake with some Internet references, he replied with a thank you and that he wasn't aware and took the auction down. :)
Sorry, the site stuffed up for me and showed me the yellow constructicons as the latest post, hence my response
I know that these have been KO'd so just wanted to check with you guys, usually if the price is too good it is.

This KO thing is getting out of hand.:mad:
So if it actually says KO version or edition on the eBay listing... It means its a Knock Off?
Sounds dumb but I'm a bit of a newbie to purchasing off eBay.
If in doubt, check out this topic... or just ask in this topic.
Cheers guys!
I just purchased (what says and looks like MP box pics and all) Frenzy and Buzzsaw off eBay. Paid $30 delivered so no biggie if they end up crap. But I'll let yas know what the deal is when I get em!
The words KO version were in the description.

For reference :D
Yep, that would've been a knockoff. There was a KO done of those 2 MP cassettes recently.
Are they really bad? All they're gonna do is stand next to my soundwave ceramic moulded statue.
Not sure about their quality. But they may still display nice.
WeallscreamforStarscream, some KO's are kinda alright, I have owned some and they have been very shotty, I had a KO Ruination and Red Defensor which, broke after an hour of just combining them, though I have a KO City Commander which is very nice, granted it has a lot of flaws.
I'm not gonna say avoid KO's, since some are decent quality, and are good if you want the figure to display, and don't have the funds and well, as far as I know, if you want a generations Sunstorm, you gotta go with KO.
All in all, you shouldn't be spending large amounts on KO versions. I'm sure some people here will debunk my support to some KO products, and that's fine, we all have our opinion.
Sunstorm was available at this years Botcon as part of a three-pack with Bitstream and Hotlink. He's also being sold individually on sites such as eBay :)
Thanks Miles! I don't think i would by anything bigger than soundwaves minions as KO's. they'll be there for display and the occasional re-posing on a monthly basis :)
But I guess, if anything pops up cheap ya gott question it!
Can anyone tell me if this skywarps a KO I received this today and it just feels wrong very loose joints the missle cannon do not stay in the arm.I know nothing about TF's KO,I bought it thinking it was a henkei Skywarp I didn't pay a great deal for while it displays alright it just feels very cheap nothing like Starscream and Thundercracker quality is there anyway I can check???
cheers

It is, unfortunately.
For instance, the Henkei version has chromed launchers & it's missing the silver paint app on the forearms that is present on the Hasbro version, among others.
All good :)
Here's a comparison of two different head sculpts. Which one is closer to the one you have?

CHMS is a KO.
I can't tell from your pic which it is. I'm seeing things both for and against it.
It also doesn't help that the official Henkei Skywarp had a fair share of issues (though not as bad as poor TC). So the fact that the cannon/s is/are loose is also a plus in your favour.
A clearer pic is needed, especially of the head. The details should be sharp, and the eyes precise, not googly and a mismatch to the area.
Yours does have the black wrist overspray common to a lot of the CHMS KOs.
Post a close-up of the head and we'll be able to tell for sure.
As is, I'm leaning towards the KO, but it's by no means definite. I'm 51/49 split on it at this stage.
