WOW! I never received a shipping notice and a courier just dropped off my order a few minutes ago at 8am. Awesome.
Edit: Actually just checked my inbox got my shipping notice an hour ago.
Do the shipping details on the box suggest it came from a local store ?

Yep came from my nearest store Bankstown. Funny I called them late yesterday and they said they sold out. Looks like they reserved one for me.
So maybe there is hope for those of us that have not received their dispatch notice yet. You got to admit though that their way of shipping things is pretty unreliable.

i just got my order despatch confirmation this morning - checked my account and it say despatched as well... hope it comes in today!
Mine has been received, my Paypal has been completed, money has come out of my bank account but I haven't received my dispatch notice yet.
I am about to ring my local TRU, which is 100klms away and see if they have their stock yet. I am thinking that they haven't which is why I haven't received the dispatch e-mail.
Going off what Griff has posted is that once a store receives their stock they can dispatch but if they don't have stock your order goes into a holding pattern and you are reserved your quantity.

Got confirmation this morning from a work mate that Soundwave was delivered to my workplace. That's quick. Problem is, I'm on business travel for 2 weeks so won't get to enjoy SW until I'm back.:( might get the wife to pop in and take SW home.
Does anyone know if Acid Storm will be available as an online purchase? That's the only way I will be able to buy one given I'm in Shepparton (regional VIC) at the moment. The wifey is TOO busy with Spring Carnival.
Just wondering if it is worthwhile to start up another thread purely for Acid Storm???? It's getting muddled up within the SW threads.

ok guys, I've ended up with an extra MP SW that I'm happy to pass on to any one who has missed out... pick up from Bella Vista area, or Epping Area, Sydney. PM me if interested.
I ordered mine online on Monday but still haven't received dispatch notice. I called the customer service this morning and the girl on the line initially said there's a high likelihood that I will get refunded and my order cancelled, but then she put me on hold to check something and later said that my order might get fulfilled but it's going to take a longer time (1+ week) while they look for stock. I didn't like my chance so I dropped by the nearest TRU this AM and luckily managed to get the last one in stock. I called TRU again to cancel my online order and they were happy to do that.
A lot of calling and running around for this little bugger but in the end it's worth it :). Good luck to other people who are still looking, hopefully everyone will get one.

I do love my Takara Soundwave though.
No I have the Takara version so haven't had any panic about the Hasbro version as I'm very happy with what I have.:)

My SW box was delivered in a courier satchel. Nooooooooo. The wife sent photos showing busted corners and edges. :( it's not that much extra effort to place SW in a shipping box, is it?
