Don't know why but last time I tried HLJ it wouldn't allow me... cant recall what it said exactly but was something along the line of 'preorder stopped' - I assumed they had orders for their entire allocation.

Wait closer to date and keep looking at sites such as hlj or hobby search.
You should have pre ordered when it first started pre orders, not having a go here, just telling you is harder to buy them closer to release date.
Is the release date still set at 13/12/14 for this guy??

Indeed. My MP Bluestreak and Smokescreen were sent off to me on 21/12/13 but didn't arrive until 3/1/14, so 13 days in total. It was the longest wait I ever had at the time... until MP Wheeljack went and slammed that out of the water with an excruciating 23 day wait! :rolleyes: But at least the peak holiday season gives us a reason as to why parcels may arrive a slower... I still have no idea why it took Wheeljack so damn long to reach me between the months of September and October. Guh. :rolleyes:

The times where we can view a guy reviewing a toy before deciding to purchase almost no longer exist.
Hlj is always a good place to pre order and allow you to cancel if you decide it is not what you want, same goes for bbts.
Do not wait till is out of stock or you end up paying inflated prices or just suck in and wait for a rerun which might be a very long time.
Or buy it at $300 in oz
Seeing it side by side with the original, my interest goes down a bit. I think it's a good design and I do want to own it, but I'm going to wait and see what Hasbro does and if they match the blue colour more closely to the toy than to the movie.
