Been thinking about changing my username for a while now... just don't have anything in mind. Does anyone have any suggestions (you could win a prize ;))?
Such an interesting thread.
I used to go by the tag, ddrumr, representing my first initial, my favorite pastime and my last initial, and kind of sounding like "the drummer"
I would use .D. as a sig in games allowing for games that only allowed 3-6 characters. this also reflected that many of my friends did and still do call me either D or big D.
When I signed up here I felt wierd about using a character name directly and couldn't think of a good name that either related to Jazz (the character), or drumming. And didn't think ddrumr was reflective of the primary interest of the board.
Also liking Ultra Magnus and supporting the notion that I might think I'm great at games (I used to play a lot and be good at it) but in general I'm not as good as I'd like to think, or used to be.:o and being one to self deprecate on occasion I like the thought of UltraMarginal. Good but not that good.
ToyEmancipation :p (I reckon you should keep 5FDP :))
I read "ddrumr" as "Dee-Dee-Ah Umm-ah," as in "Dance Dance Revolution Ummm-mmmaaaa" :p

If you dont know what mine means, you are in the wrong forums!:D
i got mine from my son who has cerabal palsey and learning difficulty's and he loves ironman but instead of saying ironman he'd say irondude.i've never asked him why he's always said that and i probably never will.
Believe it or not, but there IS a Sesame St. in Australia. It's in Mt Waverley, Victoria!
Hehe, there's a couple more in Queensland as well, but in a bizarre twist, a friend of mine when I was growing up lived in that Sesame street in Mt. waverley!
Sings: "One of these kids is doing his own thing (getting back on topic)" :p;)
Ravagecat:
Well Ravage was always my favorite Transformer as a kid, so I have always tried to use it when I can as a username/tag...but it is so popular that it is almost always taken, so I had to add something to it to make it unique.
The one thing that used to bug me as a kid would be when I used to show friends and family my soundwave and ravage etc. and they would always say "hey look it turned into a dog".
I would always be defending him, saying Ravage is not a dog  he is a jaguar, you know a big cat??
I'm a cat person too - so hence the name Ravagecat was born.
The shape
Love horror films, the killer in Halloween (Michael Myers) was listed in the credits as "the shape" thought it was bad ass when I was 13 and was too lazy to come up with a new nickname.
My fave Pokemon was bidoof, hence the first part. The dude was just added because heaps of people had the name bidoof on Serebii forums (which I go on) so yeah, its been my name on everything since like 2008.
kapryiath was born when i started playing wow , was my take on the name of a god out of a book i was reading at the time ( and who better to portray yourself as than a trickster god ) and has been with me ever since :) has become my online handle for anything and everything from my ps3 - xbox 360 - steam name to forum names and all and recently

I posted a long time ago, but when i rejoined i decided to keep the same name.
Sadly now in Anime the name Yuki has become so common, like 'john' or 'smith' that i had to get rid of it in order to be found on art sites. In the beginning, Yuki-tora was a manga OC of mine. It was hardly heard of, even in anime. Its storys based on animal engineering evolution with a bit of resi evil. (so i realised later on). Yuki = snow, tora =tiger (basicly)... comes in sets of 3.

i now use Tyranidkisses. from warhammer 40k.
My username derives from the g1 era to Bays movies, Crankcase. like Liege i am a Decepticon fan mostly, even thou I do like all transformers. And the 76 comes from the year I was born. So no real meaning really, just like it simple I guess?:)
Well all the TFs I like tend to be the crazy underdogs/rejects and have car or truck altmodes soooo, yeah, RageOnTheRoads works nicely. :)
