Got three more animation cels this morning. One from MOTU and two from Ghostbusters.
With today's delivery of the "1975 to 1976" and "1977 to 1978" volumes, I'm now halfway through collecting The Complete Peanuts. It's a long term goal, with two books released each year it won't be complete until 2016! These are great collections put together and produced with superb quality, and I've loved Peanuts comics since I was little.

Nice shoes. Please explain to me how they have gone from orange to white?
The shoes are coated with 3M reflective coating, which makes the shoes go white under bright/correctly angled light. Its similar to the coating used on street sights so they almost glow at night.
Also, they did it to match real life "creamsicles"

Very happy to have these. :D
Picked up the single greatest parody movie I have seen in a very long time.
Called Star Warp'd. And best of all, it only cost me $2!!!
If anyone is interested, I can pick up more copies if they have any left when I go back next week.
@Borgeman
That KD II colour way is ace! Don't think I could pull those off though.
Some acquisitions of mine from these past few months, in order of oldest to newest.

Prize 2 by Kiyoshi Nakazawa. It's still sitting on top of my small bookshelf, been there ever since I picked it up two months ago. Still haven't decided where to hang it up.

OriginalFake Chogokin Be@rbrick (200%). Medicom Toys need to do more of these. They just feel and look so much better than their plastic counterparts.

Crew knit from OriginalFake's A/W 2010 season. Which is developing a lot of pilling. Not very happy about.

Canon Powershot S95. Something to replace my aging Canon IXUS 75. I was initially going to pick up the S90 last year, I'm glad I waited around. Fits snug in my White Mountaineering X PORTER pouch.

Japanese Twin Tipped Fred Perry polo. I find the Japanese line for Fred Perry to be much better in terms of sizing. That's a size S and it's just a tad smaller than my (made in England) Fred Perry 100 Year Anniversary polo in size XS.

Late to the party. My first pair of Vans (I'm a Nike guy). Era 59's from the Tortoise Shell pack. Absolutely love them. Will definitely be getting more sneakers from Vans in the future.
For an upcoming 'letter S-themed' birthday party I'm dressing as a Serial Killer: Dexter Morgan.
I have been collecting a few items over the last 14 days or so:
Colorado Boots reduced from $159.00 down to $59.00. I am going to be replacing the laces with gray flat laces.

Vinyl apron from USA, Face Mask, Cosplay Dexter ID and ID holder/chain.

A closer look at the ID:

Green Henley Kill shirt, which is exactly what Dexter wears in the show:

El-cheapo green cargo pants from Target. These are their smallest size but I still need the pants taken in:

Now I just need my gray shoe laces, some medical-grade latex gloves and some fake blood.
Finally get around to posting a picture of something I got a few weeks ago

Thank you Big W!
Blu-ray drive for my computer. Cost me only $75.
Works a charm. Just need to take care of that pesky BD region change limitation problem now ...
Bench Press, early b'day pressie
Temporarily solved the pesky BD region limitation on my BD drive. :D
I don't have a PS3 and have no idea if region coding can be circumvented on that unit. Sorry.
Best advice I can give you to somewhat resolve that problem is to purchase the Soniq QPB302B blu-ray player from JB Hi-Fi. It only costs $99 and is region-changeable via remote, allowing you to view any region disc. I have this unit and it's a decent one.
Be sure to get one that is serial numbered P36TF5Bxxxx (xxxx denotes random digits) though, otherwise you'll end up with a region-locked unit. I have heard that units serial numbered P36TF5Cxxxx are also region-changeable but I can't personally confirm this. Avoid units that's serial numbered P36TF5Axxxx as they're definitely region-locked.
Hope that's of some help.
PS3 is perma locked, no workarounds thus far
RoboCop Trilogy blu-ray (US release).

Picked up the complete series of the 90s X-Men cartoon on DVD. :D
Very Nice! ;):D
I've downloaded the series myself, recorded from HDTV. ;)
Just out of curiosity sake Big Penney, do the DVDs follow the Original Airing Order? or the Intended Narrative Order?
I ask because if you read here, it turns out that the original airing order causes the whole TV Show's story to become completely broken and fractured as certain episodes from season 3 were held over until season 4 and 5, whilst entire blocks of episodes were aired back to front with others!, so it'd be interesting to see how they've ordered them on the DVDs. :D
I spent 2 & a half hours renaming and re-ordering 3 seasons worth of video files to follow the intended narrative order, now I've just got to find the time to watch them all again, the proper way. ;):p
Picked these up yesterday
