My eldest does this and annoys me to the core. I thought we were bad during the 80's and 90's but kids nowadays, sheesh.

I was in the office late tonight. Alone, everyone had gone home, working on my computer and something caught my eye. I swear several desks away someone walked quickly past! At the same time a computer screen in that area suddenly turned on, like it would when you move the mouse to wake it up. I went over and sure enough nobody there. Didn't hear any sound, just saw something move some movement. Nowhere someone might have hidden. Walked around the whole floor. No one around. Completely spooked myself out. Still getting a bit of a chill thinking about it.
Not helping myself to remember that my office building is on on the site of a former hotel.
Not that I'm a huge believer in ghosts but obviously enough of one to feel creeped out by this!
Have that happen a bit on our trains. Late one night, all the doors between the carriages opened and closed in succession, as if someone was walking through the train. Noone was on there though. Also doesn't help that it was the first waratah train that had a fatality...
