Hahah nice one. Well good news is I'm into the final round of interviews much to my relief, but for some reason I gotta wait another month for this one.
I've only ever done one before this, I don't get them either. Anybody can get up and talk crap.
God I hate waiting. Just hurry up dammit  :p
Quit Stalling - What's The Plan!?!
I feel your pain- I was the victim of a GBH almost 2 years ago now where my lower jaw was fractured and 3 of my front teeth were snapped off at the socket (1 was able to be saved) so now I'm waiting for a VCT claim to go through to sort out a bone graft and 2 implants there.
More like the loser couriers they've clearly hired for your area who are too lazy to return their excess loads to the post office on the same day.
To paraphase C3PO, I'd forgotten how much I hated moving.
A week off work and every bloody day it's been torrential rain. Starting to develop cabin fever and have got the sh-ts bad :mad::mad:
I'm thinking about building an ark :p
Awesome, I call shotgun! :D
2 tafe courses what was i thinking!
Wasting an afternoon attending "Open For Inspections" is the worse way to spend a Saturday, particularly when you see nothing you'd even consider spending the asking price on.
I got some CDs from Japan delivered to me in my office HURRAY!
Computer has no Soundcard or headphones that reach. DAMMIT!
People backing out of sales .. though I have also done it before.
Bad in this case as the person had already paid.
It's that time of the year again...
Optus axes 250 jobs in latest drive to cut operating costs
That's crap. "Let's outsource to some other country that can hardly speak english and make our customer service drop further!!"
God I hate big companies like that. I remember a campaign I did when I was on the phones. People were offered a holiday as a special promotion that they didn't get, and the call centre was in Malaysia. When we got the campaign, people who were calling up were so happy to speak to someone who could speak proper english, and their cases were finally being resolved. We were so good at it that after about a month, we got dropped and it went back overseas for a cheaper price.
Vodafone is not much better. When I had to call them a few times, I couldn't understand a word of what they were saying to me. In the end I gave up. It's no wonder why company's customer service is viewed so lowly when they outsource overseas just so they can cut costs.
(As you can tell, it hits a nerve with me :p)
a building company I used to work for started out sourcing jobs to the Philippines because it was dirt cheap :/ when there are heaps of kids out of tafe that need jobs in those positions
Ok this one is something else. With me down in Canberra and helping my girlfriend out with a move, so I'm limited to my smart phone.
Anyway, today I go to pay for my recent eBay wins when I discover that you can't pay for eBay wins on either the mobile site or the app when you have multiple wins from the same seller. So I log into the "classic" site, only when I get to the eBay checkout, I get redirected to the mobile Paypal website where apparently you cannot pay for eBay auctions. The same turned out to be true with the app.
Of course Paypal customer service were too busy feeding me canned lines to actually be helpful.
People could easily be forgiven for thinking that eBay and Paypal were no longer interested in making money...
I had to call 3 for an issue with my mobile interweb stick thingo. I got some dude who I could barely understand and I think he could barely understand me as well. his name was 'Dave.'
Anyway the guy had no idea about what my issue was and kept referring to my USB modem as a 'phone' and asked me if it was touch screen.... And what type it was. I told him about 4 times it wasn't a phone. Anyway, long story short the problem didn't get solved as I was wasting my time talking to him.
About a week later I got a follow up call asking me how the service was from the 'helpline' 1-10 1 being bad, 10 being excellent. I told her I wanted to put it down as zero. and she said it only goes to 1. I explained to her it was THE worst service call I had ever experienced in my life (and I have had lots of 'help centre' calls throughout various jobs and the like) and I would never call it again and was probably going to stop using the service. I did stop as well. Shame I wasted fifty bucks on a USB modem for about 2 months of usage.
She was shocked at how low I wanted to rate them. But that was about the end of it really. It was ridiculous!

fragile piece of crap. it fell like 2 feet.
And that's why I prefer a brick of a phone that I have :p
That really sux dude, hope you can get a replacement.
its a work phone so I might upgrade to a Samsung galaxy lol
DAMN YOU HEADROBOTS!
Dear pedestrians, when walking on a bike pathway, please walk on the left or the right rather than the centre.
Also, if you're walking a dog on the pathway, keep 'em on a damn leash!
People tapping their feet on trains.
It's not like your music isn't already over 9000 dB too loud that I have to have an annoying vibrating 'out of beat' foot tapping to go along with it.
yellow sand in the bin? bullies?
Can someone explain to me who or what Squirty-X, squirlyX or what ever it's bloody name is and what the hell that crap is that he is producing?
I'm 26 and I'm already complaining about the music kids are listening to today... WTF?
But seriously - That S*** Is Not Music!
<puts_old-man_hat_on>
LOL - fair point! :p:D
Here's a link to the jerkoffs so-called 'talent'.
Disco was fine, Dance was it's logical progression and Techno is probably it's furthest extreme... But this Dubstep crap is nothing more than elicit substance promotion.:mad:
</takes_old-man_hat_off>
Hahaha, oh Hursty. I'm surprised you think so poorly of dubstep considering how many metal heads seem to absolutely love it! Skrillex goes for more of a commercial sound, try the absolute cream of the underground crop (imo :p) with some Figure, if this doesn't convert you there's no hope ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7YYZ...833B6D36B8FDA1
If it helps you Hursticon, I'm a fairly a youngin' myself and I've never heard of this 'skrillex' chap before and I can be sure that most of my friends haven't heard of them as well despite the number of views the video has. This music does sound like something that people who live on failblog/4chan/etc or play games hardcore would listen to
LOL, you don't want to hear what I think of the Pop industry then. :p
So a lot of Metal Heads like it do they? - Wow... I truly cannot understand why.
Well I've given it a listen dude and I've got to tell you that I'll stick with my 3 favourite Drum Machines :D:
I just don't get it, it's been played to death on Triple J of all stations (Oh how that station has plummeted since I last listened to radio... in '99) and much like Scott Pilgrim - It seems like this type of music is catered for today's ADHD generation.:p
