I had no huge problems with the YF 19 I got, my only issue with the Kai is with Bassara, still holing out for the Emerald Squad.

But the VF17 that is awesome news can't wait! I just got my V11c from the HLJ sale yesterday the 17 should go well with that.

Bandai have announced that they will be releasing a revised version of the 1/60 DX VF-25, i.e. VF-25 version 2.

That's definitely good news!
Of all the styles from Frontier i still like Alto and Ozma's originals best.

How'd you find the VF-19 tober? I recently put mine out (still unpacking/cleaning up from trip) and must say my feelings haven't changed, just absolutely in love with it!

I'm liking it so far. It took me a while to warm to it, I'm just not a big fan of forward-swept wing planes. I've transformed it about 5 times and it's one of the few $200 rage Valks I can transform in under 2 mins. Everything is solid and sturdy. Really good range of motion too. Gimmicks that really add to the design too.

If I have to nit-pick, (and I do) the removable piece at the neck really irritates me. The rear leg pieces I don't really miss, the gap on the top of the chest isn't easily noticeable either, but that neck piece is something that annoys me cos I know I will lose it constantly, unless it's in fighter mode. The mis-matched red paint on the shoulder joint irks me a bit too. Otherwise it's an amazing toy.

Oh, FFS, there's no point getting the first edition of anything anymore, they'll just release new improved versions. :mad:

Don't you mean any edition? May as well save your money for version 3, 2 years from now.

That's the nature of the game with these things though, at least when it comes to primary characters.

There's a rough 10 year gap between the Yamato 1/60 version 2 VF-1 and Masterpiece Convoys. Those I can understand needing revision, but there will be around 3 years since the Bandai 1/60 Alto and Ozma came out (if they release before end of year), which feels a lot more like double-dipping. Especially if you shelled-out for the exclusives.
