Thanks dude. Yeah, the blue Terrorsaur repaint is the one I'm after. :D Sorry, I didn't really explain that very well. I think it's a walmart exclusive in the US, but I forget if the pack has a special assortment name.

There were also two MP Prowls at Garden City, and lots of the Evolution Grimlock packs. (and I mean LOTS... at both TFs sections of the store, plus two overstock shelves)
Walmart got Stinger toys as an exclusive (which included some non-Stinger packs to make up assortments of same-sized products), and some are showing up here at BigW... while US Target got Silver Knight Optimus toys as an exclusive, which are also showing up at our Target stores (unrelated companies, but if they have the Target exclusive sticker on them, it makes it easier for Hasbro Australia).
The second half of this page has images of most of the different Store Exclusives... but will be re-sorted later to their release-month pages. I should do up a new page of just store exclusive images, since there are so many now.
But for just the ones you mentioned...
Evolution Bumblebee
Bumblebee with Strafe (blue BW Terrorsaur - Walmart exclusive)
Bumblebee with Stinger and Strafe (DLX Movie Strafe - supposed to be Walmart exclusive, but has TRU sticker on official images)
TRU Aspley still had two Evolutions Bumblebee for $25 if anyone's after him.
Don't know if it's new or not but Myer at carindale had 2-3 platinum edition optimus and grimlock two packs. $130 each. Seems overly excessive for two voyagers. Optimus has some more chrome (yay?) And grimlock didn't look any different to me. Given the price of these, I wonder what the 5 pack is going to cost :S
Thanks for the clarification on the differences :)
It's cool to hear it's been here for a while, that we got it before the USA and that it was cheaper during the Myer toy sale - maybe it won't be too long before we do get the Transformers United set.
It'll be either later this month, or November, according to the schedule Griffin was provided with by Hasbro.
(I say either, because as you'll see from that link, we're supposed to be getting the dinobot five pack this month, but as we haven't even seen pictures of it yet, it seems likely that that is a mistake and the actual set we're expecting is the Autobot one)
...fair enough, now we've seen a picture of it. :P
A new store called Zing Pop Culture opened up in Indro at the start of the month. Predictably, half their stock is made up of funko pops.
Very light on the TF stuff. They had the three movie pops for $16, The Loyal Subjects 8" Optimus and Nemesis (didn't check the price but I'm guessing $40), the G1 comic pack with two mini figures for $26, and bizarrely, blind-bagged goldie international mini figures for $5. :/ Save a dollar, pick the one you want at TRU and Big W.
Also they're running a competition to win The Loyal Subjects Megatron surfboard. Basically, take a selfie with the board instore and upload to their facebook page. There's also something about including TLS figures in the shot for bonus entries. I guess take 'em along and ask the staff.
FWIW the Zing PopCulture stores are owned by EBGames
Picked up Stomp and Chomp Grimlock at Toyworld Rocky today. The guy said they only got it in yesterday, but mine was the only one on the shelf. That may mean they have more in stock, however, if anyone is passing through and is interested. They also had the Constructbots big Grimlock and the usual stuff (the TF display was actually looking pretty health, for a change).
EB Games at Nambour have the series 2 of Loyal Subjects at $15 ea. Although i think they are a box full of Sideswipes. 2 out of 2 for me. Bought 2 of them and got 2 Sideswipes. Needless to say i am pretty cheesed off. Good luck1
Yeah... random unfortunately doesn't mean a different figure every time, as my review of a master carton had twice as many semi-chase figures than regular figures, and no (regular) Thrust at all.
If you are ever down in Brisbane, I'd be willing to swap your Sideswipe for something else, as I'm not keeping these, but can't sell them (so will have a competition soon for them).
Griffin, you don't happen to need a third Shockwave do you? :P
Garden City TRU had two MP Prowls (or grimlocks?? Red, white and black box with kanji) they're on the uppermost shelf, so you'll need a staff member to grab one for you.
No G1 goldie mini figures left, I could only find bumblebee. :/
Reject Shop has series 1 for $4 each.
Is the comp still going? because I made a thing :o
Sorry for double posting, but I just got a MP Grimlock from TRU Garden City. They found them in today's stock after I called earlier, should be 3 more left.
If anyone finds one at the Aspley store please let me know as I phoned them earlier today after the post about Garden City went up and the "action figures" attendant said that he knew the one I was talking about and he said they were all sold out. I asked when they sold out and he said about a month and a half ago. Not sure I am positive he knows which one:confused: . I really would like a Grimlock.
Which one are you wanting to swap yours with?
It doesn't matter too much what characters I get stuck with, as they will be free to others when I get around to it.
I haven't thought one up yet. Been too busy with different things for it to get on the top of my todo list yet. :o
Try quoting the product numbers that were posted in the MP Grimlock News topic, as they can look it up on their computer without guessing which of the 20 different Grimlocks this year you are asking about.
Hey Caffine,
I spoke with Aspley once today and once yesterday and they said that it simply is not showing up in their system and that they do not take names to hold stock – I ended up going to Mt Gravatt to pick up mine (they let me put it on hold) and I believe they only had one more left – hope this helps.
None left at mt gravatt... Have spent the last couple weeks wondering if i'd missed the boat on grimlock, since prowl been out for a while... guess i did in the end. Unless Aspley works out what's up...
Edit - Aspley has no grim, but has 9 prowl and 7 sunstorm. Standing here debating to get sunstorm or not... not a fan of the looks and wish the box was black like soundwave/acid instead of the white like prowl.
More Grimlocks should be coming in October, as a second chance for those who miss out this time.
Are these MP Grimlocks the same batch as the US ones (with the really shotty waist joint)?
TRU Garden City has 20+ MP Prowls at the front of the store ready for the sale next week ($100 -> $80) and two MP Sunstorm ($130).
Picked up the last MP Sunstorm at TRU Garden City, make sure you ask! they where keeping one out the back just in case someone specifically wanted it
Has anyone come across these two in the Brisbane area yet?
Age of Extinction Voyager Wave 3 - Slog & Autobot Drift
Saw this last week at The Reject Shop at Sunnybank, so are probably at other ones as well.
Botshots singles - $5 (only looked like the first of the three 2013 waves)
Botshots Launchers - $10 (includes Warpath - wave 2)
Animated temporary tattoos - $2
Goldie figurines - $4

Hi North Queenslanders, don't know if this is up yet but MP Sunstorm has arrived at our TRU. $129.99 I saw seven in stock.
17 MP Prowls at Garden City. No Sunstorms.
Also at Garden City TRU - a single Voyager Drift... after I bought one and the only Slog for myself.
(I have three people asking me for Slog, so hopefully they restock before the sale ends on the 16th)
They also had 5 MP Grimlocks at 3pm, which they got in today, so other stores might be getting a second batch this week.
By 4pm there was only 2 left. (they must have had 6 or 8 in at the start of the day)
Half an hour later I bought the last one in case anyone local wanted one... before they all disappear.
Also - Toyworld.
I stumbled across a new Toyworld store on Kessels Road, near where the Department of Transport is located.
It's like right near where I live, and opened 3 months ago, but I didn't know about it.
I had a quick look inside hoping that they'd have stocked all new stuff, unlike most Toyworlds with stock that's 1-3 years old.
Unfortunately, it looks like they were just filled with stock transferred from other stores as there were TFs from DOTM, and nothing since wave 1 of AOE (which means no stock later than May). Not a good start for a new store that is a little out of the way of other stores, and will need to compete with a number of other toy options within a couple minutes drive (at Garden City and Sunnybank).
I did see that they had Kreon Combiners Menasor and Computron (the third wave that only appeared at TRU I think), for $17 each.
Hey Griff, i've posted on the sales thread that you created about maybe taking the spare off your hands. Would be really keen. I will ring Aspley tomorrow morning though to check their stock as i am heading to Comic Con on saturday so will be down in the area.
Forgot to note that the Garden City TRU also had the Evolutions Bumblebee.
(I didn't get mine from there so it didn't click that it was a first sighting at that store for me.)
Did the one on Logan Road close down? And move?
I didn't know that. It's been a while since I went toyhunting, so didn't realise that one was gone. And when I asked the staff when they opened, they didn't mention anything about it being the Mt Gravatt store.
If they moved because of lack of business, they are doing worse at the new location. They'd be getting about the same exposure on a main road, but the store was empty when I was there at about 4pm.
Picked up a Soundwave Transformer Hero Masher from BigW Chermside tonight...Queensland has come to SA's party. Think there was one more left, there were also other wave 2 figures including Slag! GL!
They picked up and relocated from what I know. But not sure why. The way I found out was when I was at city farmers a few months ago (they'd just opened at Mt Gravatt next door to toyworld) and was inquiring about a pet product and the lady said they didn't have all their usual stock yet because they were waiting for toyworld to move out so they could expand into toyworlds floor space. I asked if she knew where toyworld was moving to and she mentioned she thought Sunnybank which matches up with your new toyworld sighting at MacGregor (close enough ;))...
I went to Oz-Comiccon today, and was surprised to see stacks of Transformers gear. alternate a Worlds had stacks of Roadbuster and Tankor, while a new store called ToysNkdownundet.com.au had heaps of Encore releases, Mp Prowl and Smokescreen, Starscream etc. I guess they must be related to ToysNK but their website didn't have the same range as at the show.
Also saw a new toy store, Comicbookheroes.com.au that happened up at Aspley.
Shop 2, 1355 Gympie Road, Aspley. The flyer listed Transformers, but they didn't seem to have any for sale at the show.
did i miss a memo is the toys r us in pac fair on the gold coast shut?
