See, I LOVE the Takara legs and feet - particularly the ankle.

Ok well, disregarding the effects this'd have on vehicle mode and transformation, this is what i would have preferred:

- No buttflap
- Blue lower legs
- Thinner side of leg armour
- More defined feet
- Red tail lights and colouring on trailer ramp.
- Slightly longer legs

KFC did a very good job (of their design at least) - mostly with the proportions, but lost it a bit in terms of pure G1 accuracy and definitely the face sculpt. I think if they had the same structure and transform, but used true G1 look instead of the CHUG aesthetic, it'd be pretty much perfect. Knowing that Takara would go pure G1 is probably exactly the reason they went with the approach they did though.

I do think the MP will be nicer in person than the pics let on though - like how MP10 Prime looked a bit gorilla-arms in his photos before release, but really doesn't look like that once you have him in hand.

I think the CS get away with better looking legs as his feet are two toned as well. Makes him look like he has boots on, whereas MP just looks a bit 'blobby' for want of another word.

Your PS pic actually does look pretty good and makes him look more streamlined and more details. although i dont remember his feat being so small.

Yeah someone on TFW said the same thing! I can agree that the original is more accurate, but i have a personal preference for normal looking feet, not lumbering slabs :D

Totally understandable and I definitely dig your digibash. I think it likely comes from the fact that IMHO the 1986 movie is the best thing outside the toys. I never really got into the comics or anything, and as such, love the MP line for its pretty solid attempts at going G1 cartoon accurate. :P

In all seriousness, he's HUGE. If they announce Galvatron, he's mine. I still don't know if I want a standalone Magnus, as good as he looks.

I guess Im the only one who thinks he looks to plasticy and no like a collectible.

Changing colors of the legs shouldnt be an issue. Since he is all plastic, air brushing the blue on will be a simple task.

Although I wont be getting him I think they did a really good job on MP Magnus, especially compared to that CS version shown. I actually like the way they have done his feet too, I think if you make them smaller he looks unbalanced. I really wouldn't change him except as others have mentioned, the butt flap doesn't look that good but hardly a deal breaker.
