The robot mode looks too blue to me. Like a big robotic Smurf god. I also don't like the look of the orange wingalings on Unicron. Yeah, I know it's more G1 accurate, but it looks too bland. I prefer the grey on the Armada toy which contrasted better with the rest of the toy. The rest of the toy looks really nice though - love the orange and greys and non-transparent chest. Too bad that right hand is still transparent though (the light up hand is really something I could've lived without).
Ah well... I have no interest in getting either toy as I'm quite satisfied with my Armada and Cybertron versions. For anyone who already has the originals and is intending on getting these versions, I'd like to see side-by-side pics on the comparisons pic thread please. :) Or if anyone wants to bring 'em to a Sydney meet, I'll bring my originals and we can take comparative pics there. It certainly wouldn't be the first time I've taken comparison pics at a food court. ;)
