Now THIS is why I use Ozformers more than FB these days for my social networking with like-mined folk. Can you believe I put this track on my wall and NOT ONE PERSON even gave it a like!?!?:eek:
Fricken heathens man! ;)

Knights of Cydonia by Muse. One of the GREATEST video clips by one of the best progressive rock bands ever. Matthew Bellamy is a man I respect greatly for his musical talents.
F*%$ YEAH!!! Just managed to get my hands on a copy of The Crow Soundtrack. One of, if not the best movie soundtrack ever compiled! Been after it for a few years now. I have even resorted to looking for the CD but couldn't find it anywhere.
On a superficial level, this just made my day :D:cool::D
Since receiving these yesterday, I've been smashing the pair of them:

How To Destroy Angels' self-titled "EP" & "Welcome Oblivion", the tracks "A Drowning" & "Ice Age" I've come to really thoroughly enjoy.
Also got this pair yesterday; after quite the lengthy local search, it fell to Amazon to fulfill my requirements:

Coal Chamber's self-titled "Album" & "Chamber Music", the tracks "Sway" & "Shock The Monkey" (feat. Ozzy Osbourne) are a pair of old favourites but both albums, I've since learnt, are packed to the hilt with low-toned, grindingly-groovy tunes. :D
Been listening to 'The Beards' for International Beard Day (and to take my mind off the election results)
A wonderful and underrated Aussie Band :)

Checking out some NiN at the moment, as I've not heard a huge amount of their material outside of "The Downward Spiral" and Trent Reznor's work on the Quake PC game soundtracks, so am curious... ;)
All I'm going to say is: "The Fragile", how the hell have I lived this long and not heard your glorious sounds before!?!:confused:
Giving Satyricon's new album a good spin, so far it's fantastic. Black metal. This album they recorded analog, and you can tell the difference. Sounds more organic. So far the first 2 tracks are my favourite, though the track Pheonix is damn awesome, clean singing for a band who is black metal is cool. It is fastly growing on me as my favourite on the album.
The sound of deadlines whooshing past
ba-dum TISH
Awesome band. I was never a fan until I saw them at the Big Day Out in 1999  He also did some of the music for Black Ops 2. Some pretty funky tunes on that game as well.
You boys really should pull your heads out of all that (horrible :p) metal you listen to all the time. There are some fantastic musicians out there :p;)
...found myself quite liking "Year Zero" too , but I can't say that "With Teeth" grabbed me at all. :o
...also a helluva lot of junk too. :DQuote:

To each their own. Personally I can't say that they have ever made a bad album. Varying degrees of good, but not bad. Try Broken. Not a bad EP ;)
Yeah I cant argue with that.
Will certainly do so at some point; currently listening to "Ghosts I-IV" and I think you'll be pleased to know that I'm quite liking this album too, has quite a range but "Ghostly" is in many ways how I'd choose to describe it. ;):)
I know right? - Case in point. :cool:Quote:
Yeah I cant argue with that.
(Note: I've switched the linked videos as I did not like a certain expressed sentiment by the original)
The grateful dead - Touch of grey
"every silver lining has a touch of grey". So brilliant.
Ghost - Elizabeth
Metallica - "Through The Never", from their self-titled (Black) album.
Machine Head - Hole in the Sky
Certainly not the worst Sabbath cover, but not great either lol
Riptide-Vance Joy
Mountain Sound-Of Monster's And Men
Pompeii-Bastille
Kids and Explosions - There Is a Burning Ball of Fire in Outer Space
Only heard this musician recently. Hard to pick one song but i love how the sampling progresses on this song. Shit Computer has been out a few years so I am hoping another album is near.
Ah Machine Head, their best track to me will always be This is the End.
I love that song, good thing they play it at work. I'm usually a hard-rock/metal fan but the lyrics to that song are very deep and explore existentialism in a way I find interesting.
Justin Bieber
Hey, it's on at work, cut me some slack :o
Nope, you're to take to your eardrums with a screwdriver this very instant!...
:D
Currently listening to Static-X's - "The Trance is The Motion", from their debut album "Wisconsin Death Trip".
October Grey-The Screaming Jets
More Satyricon's new self titled album. It's still fantastic.
The thing is about alot of bands these days, they record in digital and it sounds so mechanical and overproduced and fake. Satyricon recorded this new one in analog, and you can hear the difference. It sounds organic and is a great album.
Judas Priest's - "Hell Patrol", from their album "Painkiller".
Pain - You only live twice
Discovering Sia for the first time (well, not true, never made the connection that this was the same Sia who featured on Flo Rida's "Wild Ones")... 'Colour The Small One' has been on constant repeat here.
Fear Factory's - Dog Day Sunrise, from the album Demanufacture.
Currently kicking Ghost's Ritual. Love these guys, such refreshing to hear something different to the same crap that has been coming out in recent years.
Crank it!!
Not their best off the album but still better than anything they've put out since
I prefer this one myself. :D
Perhaps not, but Dog Day Sunrise has been a song of theirs that's been a favourite of mine for many-many years. :cool:Quote:

Ensiferum - Burning Leaves
Didn't really like the new singer at first, but he got better. Or maybe their music got better again lol
Listening to Fear Factory's Body Hammer off Demanufacture, and feel like breaking things again haha
Adele. Talks like a trucker, but what a set of pipes
Black Sabbath's - Zeitgeist, from their latest album "13".
